Thx @SVRaoMD for this #AngioHistory memory. I created our Radial Center (https://t.co/5JUGygveqH) 18 yr ago after I saw my 1st TRA. I'd worked w/Simon Stertzer & knew the brachial cut-down approach had certain advantages over femoral for catheter advancement, but TRA offered those in a simpler, safer method. Thru articles, interviews, posting of training courses, and a radial hospital locator for patients, we promoted this exciting new approach on our site, hoping to aid in some small way in getting the U.S. in line with other countries (only 1.2% radial in the U.S. in 2007). Thx to your work & that of so many others, TRA is now the dominant approach in the U.S.#RadialFirst #CardioTwitter
Hey #RadialFirst snuffboxers. I am still using #StatSeal and coban wrap for hemostasis with #ldtra 👍
But I am curious what others are doing?
Please post in reply what you are doing for snuff box hemostasis.
Friend’s daughter got accepted into NYU medical school (free tuition) and also Yale medical school (no scholarship).
Where should she go to med school?
Please leave the rationale for your choice to help her make a decision.
