Prescribing is something physicians do dozens of times a day. The act itself is simple. What happens after often isn’t.
Coverage questions, pharmacy callbacks, transfer requests. Time that should go to patients gets pulled elsewhere.
Today, @doximity is launching Prescribe in partnership with @photonhealth to make prescribing easier for physicians and patients.
Physicians can write a prescription directly inside Doximity.
Patients then get a text to choose their preferred pharmacy and see estimated pricing before pickup.
That’s it.
No new portals. No separate logins.
It starts inside Dialer, works on any device, and is completely free for verified physicians, NPs, and PAs.
It’s also the next piece of the workflow we’ve been building toward -- the visit, the note, the clinical question, and now the prescription, all in one place, built for the people delivering care.

@operationdanish That's all I can get from chat gpt from clinicians, unable to do verification using various devices and accounts since they launched it.
Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.

Let me explain what just happened 👇
5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil.
5 minutes…
These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch.
There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made.
Someone in that room picked up a phone.
And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars.
American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it.
This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions.
This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight.
You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question.
Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that.
The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

Jon Stewart on the ICE murder of Alex Pretti: “They’re lying. We saw it. That’s how brazen they lie when they know we’ve seen the truth. Imagine how they lie when there’s no evidence to contradict them. Maybe that explains why Alex Pretti really was a threat. Because he was brandishing a weapon. A handheld, aluminum, 1080p, 60fps weapon of mass illumination. Because there is nothing more dangerous to a regime predicated on lies than witnesses who capture the truth”
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
Impeach and remove Kristi Noem.
Congress must not fund DHS.
No more money without disciplined leadership and massive reforms—real training, body cameras, no masks—and clear rules for how federal agent misconduct will be investigated, prosecuted, and punished.
Regardless of your thoughts on today's MN shooting the predictable response by the administration officials should really tell you all you need to know. While some try to parse out video frames, they're straight up using words like "assassin", "domestic terrorist" etc. ORWELLIAN.
Blood draw was prone to automation!
The question is: how much time will it take you to trust the robot with such a delicate process?
I've been following Vitestra closely for years: they have made a technological development into a patented and regulated service.
This new video shows their Aletta® Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ performing a diagnostic blood draw.
The patient sits in, the robot finds a suitable vein with ultrasound, helps position the arm and performs sample collection and bandage application. If multiple tubes are needed, it will fill them one by one. Everything is automated.
The device is CE marked in Europe, but in the US, it is an investigational device and is not yet approved by the FDA. That will come too.
I'd be the first one to give it a try!
This is probably the most interesting and funniest paper you’ll read today:
In 2009, neuroscientists put a dead salmon into an fMRI scanner.
The salmon was shown photographs of humans in social situations and was asked to infer the emotion experienced by the person in each image.
The results?
Several brain regions of the salmon showed statistically significant activation.
Does this provide evidence of post-mortem interspecies perspective-taking?
Not quite.
What it does show is something more important, although somewhat more boring:
When data are sufficiently complex, it becomes incredibly easy to find significant results, unless statistical controls and multiple comparisons are handled with extreme care.
