Ie, are you doing 2 RVU joint injection & the 8 RVU kypho? Maybe you are, but do you consider yourself qualified for that kypho after a 6-hour, one day training course?

But at a kyphoplasty/ablation course I attended this August, > 2/3 attending where anesthesiologists. Anesthesiologists treating cancer now, too… feel free to take the LP chemo administration while you’re at it

I spent 6 years of training to become an IR. Do you want a vascular surgeon doing your mom’s Y-90 because they had 1 month on IR?

Love the hate from the other specialties that do IR procedures. Guarantee you’d feel differently if the shoe were on the other foot. This dialogue is good for #IR, so hate away.
