@JoshMandel7 So eventually my opponent is forced to be the first player to touch one of {B3, E7, F1}. If they choose B3, I answer with B4 and win. If they choose F1, I answer with F2 and win. And if they choose E7, that means E6 is already mine, letting me play B3 and win anyway.

Quicksand really felt like one of those hazards adulthood was going to involve constantly. But after losing my dad to quicksand as a kid, I mostly stopped putting myself in situations where it could come up.
