Thank you Shawn Ryan and Tim Tebow for using the Shawn Ryan Show to shine a light on child trafficking and sexual abuse. Protecting kids and holding offenders accountable matters, and conversations like this drive real awareness and action. Respect to both of you for tackling what others won’t.

In the early morning hours, members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Carmel Police Department, Kent Police Department, the New York State Police, and the Village of Brewster Police executed a coordinated Warrant Sweep Operation across multiple jurisdictions.

38 individuals with outstanding warrants were identified. By the conclusion of the operation, 20 were located and taken into custody to answer for their charges.

Thank you to all participating agencies for their outstanding work and commitment to keeping our county safe.

We would also like to thank the Westchester County Police Department, the Westchester / Putnam Real Time Crime Center, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Putnam County 911 Center, and the Putnam County District Attorney’s Office for their partnership and support.

This operation was a strong reminder of what can be accomplished through effective collaboration and interagency cooperation.
