@Houseofyogi The Bears didn’t want to be extorted, taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize a stadium they won’t use, and politicians don’t get another pot of money for pet projects. Sounds like a win all around.
@nettermike If judges are willing to release career criminals or dangerous offenders, they should be held accountable. If that person reoffends after release, the judge should risk losing the bench. Let’s make that a law!
@theleviedwards Why should they? Set aside the bias and the answer is obvious: they haven’t earned it. You don’t reward years of losing with primetime slots and special treatment.
@RaidersLead I disagree. The Raiders haven’t done anything to deserve primetime. It’s hard to promote a perennial loser and we had the #1 draft pick for a reason. If the Raiders want to be showcased they need to earn it.
@MoeMoton With or without Cousins, the Raiders are a losing franchise. That kills excitement, ratings, and national interest. When networks and the NFL are investing billions, viewership is everything and nobody wants to lose money by showcasing a loser.
