@MeirSimchah Are you sure you are not projecting…
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

@SteveSkojec They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. 1 John 2:19
@SteveSkojec You make the logical mistake of deciding on the truth of Christianity based on the behavior of people professing the faith and not other reasons. You keep conflating things and relying on subjectivism as a foundation of whatever you believe.
Eric,
Thank you for the great sermon last weekend. I am not sure if you have heard of the following
Tom Hollands best selling book "Dominion: How the Christian Revolution Remade the World."
Also Keller references this great essay by David Foster Wallace in a sermon.

@iWomansplainer If you have time the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures Museum at UChicago is very cool. The architecture at the school is amazing too.
Out of all my friends only a few showed up. Some in ways I did not expect. One was the chief of police of a small town hundreds of miles way who took a week off travel and spend solely with me. The other was an ex teacher/mentor who taught close by. Every day after work for about a week he came to the house. Both are strong loving Xtian men. My family of 5 brothers did not offer the support these men did. I'm very grateful. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to remember this.
