Realized I can use real-life photography to try to map out gestures which also helps me figure out proportions

@Adenantem Just everything about it. I literally just can't make sense of any of it or how it's supposed to work.

Like, I get that it's a bunch of shapes but I have no clue how to make those shapes into a body

Real talk, I haven't drawn for half of this month because I hit a wall when it comes to anatomy.

Something about it just isn't landing and it completely derailed my motivation. I understand I have to keep at it, and I will; and eventually it'll click; but MAN is it hard

This is a trace, and unfortunately I got the whole thing done and ready to post before I realized the OG art was AI generated.

Mistake's on me. I'll be on the lookout for stuff like this more in the future.

I am happy with how I approached the shading.

I did forget to draw yesterday, and rather than be upset that I broke my streak, I'm going to do 2 drawings today practicing anatomy to make up for it!

I'm still learning a lot, and I want to really understand proportions before I go further with refining lines and style

Admittedly, spent way longer on this than I should have, but I love how it turned out!

Changed things up by adding clothes and making the piece into Juno!
