I think I have a weird one for you.

I’ve been turning my own work into an experiment in what a “one-human AI-native company” might look like.

Meetings, decisions, documents and ongoing work become persistent organizational memory. Agents pick up delegated work, coordinate across projects and tools, execute it, run QA, preserve evidence and feed the result back into a Company Brain.

Eventually I ran into a problem I didn’t expect:

I couldn’t reliably tell whether all my AI “employees” were actually working, waiting, stalled or dead.

So we started building the equivalent of workforce observability for AI agents — health, activity, task state, evidence, cost and human-intervention points.

The interesting part isn’t the individual agents. It’s that I’m starting to need the same management infrastructure for AI workers that a company needs for humans.
