Even Nazi Germany did not denied athletes, referees & officials from entering the country to participate in the 1936 Olympics.
This is blatant racism/discrimination, and FIFA stands disgraced for allowing politics to undermine the spirit of the beautiful game in such a manner.
Sorry brother Omar. An apology is owed to @Ref_Artan, No official should be excluded from the world’s biggest sporting event because of their nationality or passport.
The flag and national emblem, as detailed in the First Schedule (A) and First Schedule (B) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia, feature a blue color specified by the Hex Code #B5D7F1 and RGB values (181, 215, 241).
Clan grievances are a relic of a fractured past that has no future in modern Somalia.
The nation is building a new identity one rooted in citizenship, law, and shared ambition, not bloodlines or outdated loyalties.
Those who refuse to evolve, who still wield clan as a weapon or shield, will not hold the rest of the country hostage. Somalia is moving forward with or without them.
Accidental President Farmajo is not known for being a talented public speaker, but this was the worst speech in his already poor track record.
It will not only add to the negative legacy of his administration but also further reinforce that unfavorable history.
Strong relations between nations are built on mutual interests, not on the conspiracy theories of a frustrated opposition. The script changes, but the goal of undermining Somalia-Türkiye relations remains the same.
Statement by the Banadir Regional Police Commissioner
The events witnessed today should serve as a clear message to all individuals and groups seeking political power outside the framework of the law. Somalia has entered a new era in which leadership and political authority must be earned through democratic processes and the will of the people, not through force, armed intimidation, or actions that threaten public security.
Those who were released today should not mistake restraint for weakness. The security institutions of the state remain fully committed to protecting the constitutional order, maintaining public safety, and enforcing the law without fear or favor. Somalia is moving toward popular elections, and any individual seeking public office should present their case to the Somali people through lawful and democratic means.
The days when political power could be pursued through armed pressure or attempts to destabilize Mogadishu are over. The Banadir Regional Police will continue to uphold law and order and will take all necessary legal measures against anyone who seeks to undermine peace, security, and the democratic process. We urge all political actors to respect the rule of law and contribute constructively to the country’s stability and progress.

It is considered a national duty to investigate the Abdulaziz district in Mogadishu, as it is believed that weapons intended to overthrow the Somali government were concealed there to serve specific interests. I wish to commend the security agencies for their excellent work.
@NurTabulaRasa In dismantling a false narrative, @NurTabulaRasa found a subject perfectly suited to her powers—elegant phrasing, apt metaphor, and lucid arrangement. The result, as Horace would approve, is a verdict both lethal and lyrical: "Desperation has its own choreography."

Those recruited and financed to undermine Somalia’s security and stability have been decisively defeated by our security forces. Their plot collapsed before their eyes, and they were driven back from the very targets they sought to attack.
The Somali people now see clearly who stands against peace, stability, and national progress. Those who once hide behind false narratives and political slogans have exposed themselves through their actions.
As for those who funded this failed venture, their investment has yielded nothing but defeat. Having failed in their objectives, they are now left counting the cost of their miscalculation.
