@DanteAl45498650 @DanQuaye22 @NASA @astro_reid Interesting thought! Do we know if that's actually the case? That would be beyond awesome if on top of it all they captured an aurora here too. My thought was it's either the atmosphere or the fact they took the photo through a space ship window. 🙂

@PInstinctx @Jikkyleaks @NASA @astro_reid Still, it's an impressive bit of photography if you realize that "Earthshine" at its brightest (which we see at nearly new moon) is about 42× brighter than moonshine at full moon, due to Earth's bigger surface and higher albedo. And I don't know if the Moon was full here.

@sojoodi @NASA @astro_reid It's interesting to think how Earthshine compares to moonshine. The bigger surface compared with Earth's higher albedo makes Earthshine at nearly new Moon (when Earth's dayside is almost fully turned towards the Moon) about 42× as bright as the shine of a full moon towards Earth.

@NASA @astro_reid Does anyone know at which day/time these photos were taken? I'm trying to work out what the phase of the Moon was at that moment (for many % the Moon was illuminated). If anyone knows thanks in advance!

@AmbModiEphraim Israel has NEVER been open to constructive dialogue. It is insane to claim this about a country that has been breaking international law and UN decrees for DECADES. Where was Israel open for conversation (which shouldn't even be necessary) to stop doing that?

@BuienRadarNL de wet bepaalt dat de overheid geen taken mag aanbieden die de markt ook kan doen. Maar 'de markt' kan blijkbaar geen weerinfo aanbieden zonder een hoop advertenties en zonder belachelijk veel info over gebruikers te verzamelen en die te verpatsen, dus Voila!
