Europe is the cradle of democracy and philosophy. You just copied it poorly — otherwise, hatred and violence wouldn’t be so widespread in your country.

The number of intentional homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in the U.S. is 6.4 times higher than in Germany; the U.S. ranks 155th worldwide, one spot below Russia.

You have no right to judge democracy — because you don’t have one!

1. Weak checks and balances:
The president and Congress often block each other, especially when controlled by opposing parties. Judges, including the Supreme Court, are politically appointed and can make ideologically driven decisions. In Germany, the judiciary is more independent, and the parliament has stronger control over the government.

2. Money in politics:
U.S. election campaigns require enormous funding, giving corporations and wealthy donors major influence. In Germany, party financing is more regulated, and lobbying is more limited and transparent.

3. Electoral system:
U.S. elections are sometimes skewed through gerrymandering and voter suppression, especially affecting minorities. Germany’s proportional representation ensures fairer and broader representation and more stable majorities.

4. Media and polarization:
U.S. media is extremely polarized (e.g. Fox News vs. MSNBC), which deepens division. Germany has public broadcasters bound by neutrality laws, and a more balanced media landscape.

Conclusion. The German (or Western European) system is more stable, transparent, and better protected against abuse of power. It may be quieter, but it works more reliably.

From 1930, there were attempts to ban the NSDAP due to its increasing violence and anti-constitutional nature. The Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) pushed for a ban, but the Weimar Republic was politically too fragmented and weak to act effectively. Additionally, conservative forces supported the NSDAP as a useful ally in the fight against the Communists. As a result, the ban failed.

In 1933, the Nazis first targeted political opponents like social democrats. They then crushed press freedom and silenced critical voices. By 1935, Jews were legally discriminated against through the Nuremberg Laws.

Your country is close to 1930. Think about it. Look at the bans in your country. They affect universities, basic rights, demonstrations, even 200 words 🤦🏻‍♂️, now foreign films too! What’s next? Books??? Wake up!

Democracy is currently the best system we have. At the moment, there’s no real alternative. Admittedly, it’s a bit slow when it comes to implementation — especially for people who want quick solutions because they either can’t or don’t want to think about complex problems.

What’s the alternative? Communism? Fascism? Nazi-style national socialism? Tyranny?

You’re probably also a PiS supporter still dreaming of the Soviet Union and you clearly haven’t been ‘de-Stalinized’ yet. 😉

In 2021, the murder rate in the USA was 6.9 murders per 100,000 people, and in 2022, it was 6.4 murders per 100,000 people. The USA has one of the highest murder rates among developed countries.

In Western Europe, the murder rate was 1.1 murders per 100,000 people in 2021.

Absolutely wrong! Since when is a factual and moral discourse considered dangerous? In Germany, there is more reporting on crimes committed by foreigners than on those committed by Germans — it simply generates more publicity! It’s the same in your country, only even more refined.

This is about factual reporting — without personal judgment, irony, mockery, speculation, or unfounded claims. What you’re stating here is purely speculative and biased.

No matter how terrible something is or how badly we think of it — even if one wishes the worst — there is still a difference between thinking it and actually saying it out loud. That’s how hatred starts, and eventually, terrible actions can follow.

We have the ability to reflect and change our behavior. A tip for the Christians out there: ;-) It’s in the New Testament, too.

They have no idea what needs to be protected first. Freedom of speech can never stand above human dignity. If it did, we’d all just be insulting each other all the time — which may already be everyday reality in the U.S. Especially in the age of the internet, it’s easy to do — cowardly and anonymous. So actually, it’s worse today than it was in the past and harms society in the long run. Without moral values, it simply doesn’t work.

The cowboy era is long gone.

Europe is the cradle of democracy, philosophy, and human rights. You are descendants of Europe — so show some respect and think about it.
