That Mcduffie deal is HUGE money for a CB. Rams have a lot of needs this restricts them this offseason to 19 million in cap. With corner still being their biggest need this will have to be solved. Expecting them to save some cap for resigning Nacua/Young/Turner/Avila next year.
The Darnold deal with Seattle has no dead money after year 1, an absolute steal if Darnold doesn’t work out for Seattle. An absolute masterclass by John Schneider.
Love the Bears mindset going into this offseason, get OL pieces and bolster the DL. Ben Johnson is being aggressive, putting a team around Caleb Williams to help him succeed.
Also worth noting Darnold's deal with Seattle includes 55M guaranteed out of 100.5M with a AAV of 33.5M. If the deal isn't panning out after 2 years, Darnold could be a cuttable option. The deal is low risk, high reward.
The Seahawks got a steal at QB. Sam Darnold is comparable to Geno, he is 7 years younger making 10M less and still gives the team a chance to compete for a playoff spot. Even if Darnold doesn't pan out the team can draft their QB of the future. #Seahawks
The new Warriors starting lineup looks much improved:
PG - Stephen Curry
SG - Buddy Hield
SF - Jimmy Butler
PF - Draymond Green
C - Trayce Jackson-Davis
I like the aggressiveness by the Warriors to give Steph a reason to resign and a means of competing.
The NBA has been crazy this deadline, but nothing crazier than the Butler- Heat Saga that has been brewing since the start of the year. Butler has been suspended by the club twice for breaching the rules and he finally finds a place to play.
