We’re in an era where almost anything can appear real, especially with how accessible AI has become. Just because a post has a lot of engagement doesn’t mean it’s true.
Even some news sources can’t be trusted because of their blatantly racist agendas.
Just a reminder that a checkmark next to an account doesn’t automatically make it a credible source.
Just because an account is “verified” doesn’t always mean it’s a trusted source or a legitimate account.
Especially during times like this, sharing or interacting with trolls that spread fear boosts their engagement and helps harmful rumors spread further.
Some posts are simply rage bait meant to drive traffic to their accounts. They don’t actually care about what’s happening.
Hitting your children is abuse. No, I don’t care if your parents whipped you, and you grew up “fine.”
If I can’t walk up to you and do it to you on the sidewalk without assault charges, you shouldn’t be able to do it to a helpless kid
Americans telling Mexicans to get over the loss of California because it happened two hundred plus years ago, but support Israel because it was their land 2,000 years ago is simply peak comedy.
@pinkelephant73 Sleeping earlier and waking up at 5 AM.
I’ve tried it and I feel like it would make me a better person if I was consistent. I’m productive (for myself), I get my “me time” as opposed to having that at night, and a head start on my day.
I want to, I just get FOMO sometimes lol
The silence of the film industry is alarming. A man slapping another man was talked about for MONTHS, yet when a director gets KIDNAPPED suddenly no one wants to get on their soapbox
Personal opinion (!), some things are best left as they are.
Seems we’re confusing conservation with unnecessary modernism. This feels like a lack of respect for the context and intent of the mural, an attempt to modernize for aesthetics. Not everything needs to be “cleaned up.”
