AKU President Dr Sulaiman Shahabuddin recently met with University of Alberta President and Vice-Chancellor Bill Flanagan to review the longstanding partnership between the two institutions in health sciences, research innovation, and student success. They agreed to continue strengthening their collaboration in new academic programmes, student scholarships, and joint research, particularly in health sciences and social sciences.
President Shahabuddin highlighted that this partnership extends beyond AKU to the broader AKDN network, enhancing value and opportunities for both institutions. He also warmly invited President Flanagan to visit AKU in Karachi, an invitation that was gladly accepted. We look forward to welcoming President Flanagan soon!
