On February 12th, we mark the International Day Against the Use of Child Soldiers (Red Hand Day) to demand urgent action to stop the recruitment and exploitation of children in armed conflicts. 🚨

Children belong in schools, families, and communities—not on battlefields. Yet, thousands of children are still forcibly recruited, manipulated, and used in wars. This must end!

We call on governments, armed groups, and the international community to:
✅ Enforce international laws prohibiting child recruitment
✅ Hold perpetrators accountable for crimes against children
✅ Rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate affected children
✅ Invest in prevention & child protection programs

National and international NGOs, governments, policymakers, and civil society must work together to strengthen legal frameworks, protect children’s rights, and ensure a future where no child is forced into war.
