The Sansad Ratna Awards are an initiative by Prime Point Foundation, a 25-year-old NGO from Chennai run by Mr. Srinivasan. Each year, data from the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha is analysed to evaluate the performance of parliamentarians and standing committees. This year marks the 16th edition of the awards, with 10 MPs from the Lok Sabha, 2 from the Rajya Sabha, and 4 standing committees being recognised.
