@Wigwamjam I did the first Junior Brecon course that used the SA80 in 1986. Mags fell off, bayonet flew off during bayonet fighting and stuck in a blokes arm and the sling was a nightmare. A great improvement on the SLR though, especially once the issues were addressed in the A2 and A3
