History doesn’t just repeat. It rhymes.
1/
What we’re watching with the ICE protests in Minneapolis and other cities isn’t just about immigration enforcement.
It’s about how media framing can change outcomes—without changing facts.
Everybody online suddenly became an “undersea cable warfare expert” this week.
Yes…subsea fiber cables are real infrastructure.
Yes…they matter.
Yes…they can be damaged.
But some of these posts are turning legitimate infrastructure discussion into Hollywood-level collapse fantasy.
A few reality checks:
Deep ocean transcontinental cables are not sitting 50 feet below a fishing boat anchor.
Most anchor-related damage happens in shallow coastal zones and shipping chokepoints.
The global internet was specifically designed with redundancy and rerouting capability.
Financial systems, military systems, and telecom systems all operate with layered backup paths.
If one cable gets cut:
traffic reroutes
latency increases
regional slowdowns happen
repair ships mobilize
That is very different from:
“the global economy instantly freezes.”
This is where operational thinking matters.
Real resilience is never built on a single point of failure.
And modern networks were engineered for exactly this kind of disruption.
What fascinates me is how quickly social media jumps from:
“there is a vulnerability”
to
“civilization is collapsing.”
That leap is usually emotional…not analytical.
A good operator learns to distinguish:
vulnerability from catastrophe
disruption from collapse
risk from inevitability
The internet is not fragile because cables exist.
The internet is resilient because thousands of engineers spent decades assuming failures WOULD happen.
That’s what real systems thinking looks like.
Not panic.
Not doomposting.
Not cinematic fear bait.
Just redundancy, contingency planning, and disciplined operational design.

THEY TOLD ME TO STOP PRAYING 🙏
Maya Johnson, a US Army soldier deployed to Iraq (2019–2021) in convoy security. she was mocked as “Church Girl” for praying before every mission, yet God protected her and her entire unit.
Maya grew up Pentecostal and took her faith seriously—she brought prayers, worship songs, and even anointing oil to Iraq. From the very first day, before every mission, she would sit in her truck and pray out loud with her team. Not everyone appreciated it. Teammates (including atheists and Buddhists) laughed at her and called her “Church Girl.” One soldier even told her to her face, “I don’t wanna hear your prayers, Maya. Keep that to yourself.” She replied, “Well, I’m still gonna pray. You don’t have to listen, but I’m doing it.”She refused to stop. And through mission after mission in war zones full of ambushes and IEDs, her team was never hit by a bomb while she was with them. Then she got punished for being a “hothead” and was pulled off convoy duty. The moment she stopped going with them, the team started getting hit by bombs every time—as if the protection had lifted. Her team leader eventually came to her and said, “Hey, can you come back out? We keep getting hit, and we need your protection. Whatever you’re praying, it’s working.” She returned, and the attacks https://t.co/A8frG6pJhJ mission stood out: about six months in, she was exhausted from long shifts and nearly falling asleep at the wheel. She drove right over a bomb… but it didn’t detonate. She kept going. A truck coming the opposite way hit the same bomb and exploded, killing the two soldiers inside. After that, she went all in. She set up speakers in her truck and blasted Pentecostal worship music loud—“Black-Church-Sunday-morning loud.” Teammates complained, but she told them, “Hey. You’re gonna get hit, but I ain’t gonna get hit. You may not want these prayers, but I guarantee you this: We ain’t getting touched.”
Maya came home safely with her entire unit—300 soldiers, not one death—in the middle of a dangerous war zone. She ended her testimony with this powerful message:
“To everyone who’s ever been called Church Girl or Church Boy or too much or too religious, keep praying. You have no idea whose life depends on it.”
This story has been shared widely on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms in the past week, with people praising God for His protection through prayer. It’s a beautiful reminder that faithfulness in the face of mockery can literally save lives. Thank you, Maya, for sharing your testimony—God is faithful! If you’d like links to the original video clips or more details, just let me know.
I hate to call BS on this story because it’s really heartfelt…but the polaroid would have just been gaining popularity in the 60’s and it wasn’t widespread until the 70’s. So the chance a young newlywed couple had one in 1961 is doubtful!
"On a peaceful Sunday afternoon in June 1961, just months after leaving the presidency, Dwight D. Eisenhower was tending his vegetable garden at his Gettysburg farm when he noticed a young couple had gotten their car stuck in the mud on the rural road bordering his property, and without hesitation, this 70-year-old former Supreme Commander grabbed a rope from his barn, trudged through the muck in his overalls, and spent forty-five minutes helping them push their beat-up Chevy back onto solid ground. What makes this moment so beautifully human is that the couple—newlyweds Tom and Susan from Ohio driving cross-country on their honeymoon—had absolutely no idea they were being rescued by the man who'd led the Allied forces to victory and served two terms as President, and Eisenhower never mentioned it, just introduced himself as 'Ike, the farmer next door' and asked about their travels while hauling on the rope with mud splattered all over his work clothes. When they finally got the car free, Eisenhower's wife Mamie appeared with a thermos of lemonade and homemade cookies, inviting this bewildered young couple to sit on their porch and rest, and for an hour they chatted about marriage advice, good fishing spots in Pennsylvania, and the best route to California, with Ike telling stories about his own road trips with Mamie decades earlier. It wasn't until Tom and Susan stopped for gas twenty miles down the road and showed the attendant a photo they'd taken with 'the nice farmer who helped us' that someone gasped and said, 'That's President Eisenhower!'—and the couple nearly fainted realizing they'd just shared lemonade and marriage tips with one of history's greatest leaders who'd treated them like old friends rather than starstruck strangers. Tom later wrote Eisenhower a letter thanking him for the kindness, and Ike responded with a handwritten note: 'The pleasure was all ours—Mamie and I love meeting young people starting their adventures together. Remember: a good marriage is like farming, it takes patience, hard work, and the wisdom to know some days you're just going to get muddy. Stay happy. Your friend, Ike.' What absolutely destroys you is understanding that Eisenhower could've enjoyed celebrity retirement, could've had staff handle every inconvenience, but instead he chose to be simply *Ike*—a neighbor who helped strangers, a farmer who got his hands dirty, a man who measured his worth not by past glory but by present kindness, proving that true greatness is what you do when nobody's watching and nobody knows your name.
Just the fact you can say this is why I love X! Thank God for Elon @elonmusk we will probably not know for 50 years how important he was just by buying the Company Formerly Known as Twitter! To the survival of Free Speech and Western Civilization. I am writing letters to my grandchildren and great grandchildren to tell them I lived in a time where literally their future hung in the balance!
HILLARY CLINTON
As some of you know, I was the Air Force Military Aide for Bill Clinton, lived in the White House, traveled everywhere they traveled, and carried the “nuclear football.” As such, I was always in close proximity to both Bill and Hill.
Among the military who served in the White House and the professional White House staff, the Clinton administration was infamously known for its lack of professionalism and courtesy, though few ever spoke about it. But when it came to rudeness, it was Hillary Clinton who was the most feared person in the administration. She set the tone. From the very first day in my assignment.
When I first arrived to work in the White House, my predecessor warned me. “You can get away with pissing off Bill but if you make her mad, she’ll rip your heart out.” I heeded those words. I did make him mad a few times, but I never really pissed her off. I knew the ramifications. I learned very quickly that the administration’s day-to-day character, whether inside or outside of DC, depended solely on the presence or absence of Hillary. Her reputation preceded her. We used to say that when Hillary was gone, it was a frat party. When she was home, it was “Schindler’s List.”
In my first few days on the job, and remember I essentially lived there, I realized there were different rules for Hillary. She instructed the senior staff, including me, that she didn’t want to be forced to encounter us. We were instructed that “whenever Mrs. Clinton is moving through the halls, be as inconspicuous as possible.” She did not want to see “staff” and be forced to “interact” with anyone. No matter their position in the building. Many a time, I’d see mature, professional adults, working in the most important building in the world, scurrying into office doorways to escape Hillary’s line of sight. I’d hear whispering, “She’s coming, she’s coming!” I could be walking down a West Wing hallway, midday, busier than hell, people doing the administration’s work whether in the press office, medical unit, wherever. She’d walk in and they’d scatter. She was the Nazi schoolmarm and the rest of us were expected to hide as though we were kids in trouble. I wasn’t a kid, I was a professional officer and pilot. I said “I’m not doing that.”
There was also a period of time when she attempted to ban military uniforms in the White House. It was the reelection year of 1996, and she was trying to craft the narrative that the military was not a priority in the Clinton administration. As a military aide, carrying the football, and working closely with the Secret Service, I objected to that. It simply wasn’t a matter of her political agenda; it was national security. If the balloon went up, the Secret Service would need to find me as quickly as possible. Seconds matter. Finding the aide in military uniform made complete sense. Besides, what commander in chief wouldn’t want to advertise his leadership and command? She finally relented because the Secret Service weighed in.
The Clintons are corrupt beyond words. Hillary is evil, vindictive, and profane. Hillary is a bitch.
"If I told you there was one free thing you could do every Sunday that would make your kids happier, healthier, smarter, and closer to you, you'd think I was selling something."
Take your kids to church regularly. I don't care if you believe. The data is so lopsided that skipping it is the parenting equivalent of refusing vegetables because you don't like the taste.
Grades. Religious teens get As at almost twice the rate of nonreligious teens. In a class of 100, that's 24 A-students instead of 14. Church gives a kid the same academic boost as being born rich instead of poor.
College. Working-class religious kids earn bachelor's degrees at double the rate of their nonreligious peers. Middle-class kids do it at 1.5x the rate. For families without a trust fund, this is one of the most powerful forms of upward mobility social scientists have measured.
Character. Religious teens are far less likely to lie, cheat, or do things they hope their parents never find out about. They're more likely to care about racial equality, the elderly, and the poor. They reject the idea that morality is whatever works for you in the moment. That kind of kid doesn't happen by accident. It's built.
Closeness. 60% of parents of religious teens say they feel "extremely close" to their kid, compared to 50% of nonreligious parents. The kids report the same thing back. They get along better with their parents, talk about hard stuff, and actually want to spend time with their family.
Despair. Religious teens are dramatically less likely to be depressed, anxious, lonely, or feel that life is meaningless. 90% of devoted religious teens never binge drink, compared to 41% of the disengaged. Economists named the modern epidemic "deaths of despair." Regular church attendance is one of the strongest known buffers against it. Parents are spending fortunes trying to solve teen mental health. The most evidence-backed intervention is free.
Purpose. Religious young adults report higher purpose, gratitude, life satisfaction, and resilience. These are the exact traits every parent says they want their kid to have.
Here's why it works. Affluent families already surround their kids with networks of stable, accomplished adults through neighborhoods, schools, and parents' colleagues. Working and middle-class families usually don't. A congregation is often the last institution in American life that puts your kid in weekly contact with dozens of stable, employed, sober adults who know their name. It used to be called "a village." Now it barely exists outside of churches.
"But I don't believe." Your kid doesn't need your theology. They need you to show up.
"But church is boring." So is sitting through a kindergarten music recital. Parenting is the deliberate choice to be bored on purpose for someone you love.
There's a church within 15 minutes of nearly every American home. You don't need money, connections, or credentials to walk in. Nothing else in this country will surround your kid with engaged adults, teach them moral seriousness, and give them a stable weekly rhythm at zero cost.
You already drive them to practices that produce far less. The free thing on Sunday produces more, on more dimensions, than almost anything else you do as a parent.
You don't have to believe anything. You just have to take them.
President Trump didn’t tweet. He launched a kinetic strike from orbit.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz...freshly installed steward of a hollow Reich...had the gall to whine that America was “humiliated” by Iran.
Trump’s reply was surgical, lethal, and dripping with the contempt these continentals have earned for seventy years:
“The Chancellor of Germany should spend more time on ending the war with Russia/Ukraine (Where he has been totally ineffective!), and fixing his broken Country, especially Immigration and Energy, and less time on interfering with those that are getting rid of the Iran Nuclear threat, thereby making the World, including Germany, a safer place!”
Boom. The mask slipped.
The vassal state that can’t keep the lights on, can’t seal its borders from the Third World tide, and can’t even pretend to deter Putin suddenly lectures the only adult in the room about “humiliation.”
Fuck you, Merz. Fuck the entire post-1945 European pathology that produced you.
Let’s speak the truth these salons will never stomach.
Psychology of the Cuckold Continent.
Europe isn’t just weak; it is pathologically dependent.
Post-WWII, we pumped the Marshall Plan into a continent that had gutted itself twice in thirty years.
We gave them the nuclear umbrella, the 70-plus percent of NATO’s actual combat power, the logistics backbone that lets their militaries play dress-up.
In return they cultivated a psychic complex:
moral superiority married to strategic impotence.
It’s battered-spouse syndrome in reverse...the wife (America) keeps handing over the paycheck while the degenerate husband (Europe) drinks, cheats, lectures, and resents the very hand that feeds him.
They hate us because we expose their castration.
Every American strike that actually neutralizes a threat...whether Soleimani, bin Laden, or now the Iranian nuclear program...reminds them they lack the will, the balls, and the arsenal to do it themselves.
Historical Betrayal on Steroids.
NATO was forged to stop Stalin’s hordes from rolling to the Channel.
Fine. Mission accomplished in 1991.
What followed was the greatest strategic grift in history:
Europe deliberately demilitarized, offshored its energy security to Putin’s pipelines, opened the gates to mass Islamic migration that now runs its no-go zones, and then had the nerve to call America “unilateralist” every time we lifted a finger.
Germany...yes, the same Germany that once fielded Wehrmacht panzers...now fields a Bundeswehr that can barely muster a brigade without American airlift, fuel, and ammo.
Their energy policy is a green suicide cult. Their immigration policy is national suicide by demography. And still they posture as the adults in the room.
Military and Geopolitical Reality Check.
The United States subsidizes European defense so Berlin and Paris can virtue-signal about climate accords and lecture us on “rules-based order” while Iranian proxies swarm the Red Sea and Russian artillery turns Ukrainian fields into moonscapes.
Trump just reminded the world:
when America moves against an existential nuclear threat, the planet...including the Euro-cucks...gets safer whether they like it or not.
Merz’s bleating is projection.
Germany is humiliated daily...by its own impotence, its own demographic replacement, its own energy poverty.
The only humiliation America suffers is the self-inflicted kind:
staying married to this welfare queen alliance.
We are the abused wife who keeps coming back with fresh bruises and a new credit card.
“But the kids!” they cry...meaning their precious European social model built on American blood and treasure.
Bullshit. The kids grew up spoiled, soft, and sneering. Time for the divorce.
GET THE FUCK OUT OF NATO.
Let the continent that invented total war face the wolves it invited.
Let Germany discover what actual security costs when the American ATM is closed and the 101st Airborne isn’t riding to the rescue. America First isn’t isolationism...it’s sanity.
We will keep the seas open, the nukes ready, and the homeland defended. But subsidizing effete ingrates who piss on our boots while demanding we bleed for their mistakes?
That era ends now.
Trump sees it.
The American people are waking to it.
Europe had seventy years of the free ride.
The bill is due.
Pay it yourselves...or watch the house burn while you lecture the firemen on their tone.
💀
I love this. 👇
To the person who wrote this, thank you for sharing what so many of us think of our President.♥️🇺🇸
Mr. President,
⠀
I don’t know if you’ll ever read this. Probably not. But I’m writing it anyway because my wife and I talk about this all the time, and somebody needs to say it out loud.
⠀
We can’t wait for the day you’re no longer President.
⠀
Not because we’re tired of you. The opposite. Because you deserve to go home. You deserve quiet mornings. You deserve to sit on your own porch without the weight of 330 million people sitting on your shoulders. You deserve your family back. You deserve peace.
⠀
You didn’t have to do any of this.
⠀
You had the money.
You had the name.
You had the life most men only dream about.
You could’ve spent the rest of your days golfing, traveling, watching your grandkids grow up.
⠀
Instead you stepped into a fire that nearly cost you everything.
⠀
They mocked you. They sued you. They raided your home. They tried to bankrupt you. They tried to lock you up. They dragged your wife and kids through the mud. They put a bullet through your ear and you got up with your fist in the air and kept going.
⠀
For what?
⠀
For us. Regular people. Truck drivers. Welders. Waitresses. Roughnecks. Farmers. Single moms working two jobs. Grandparents on a fixed income watching the country they built get handed away.
⠀
You didn’t owe us a thing. And you gave us everything.
⠀
You risked your name. Your legacy. Your safety. Your family’s safety. Your brand. Your freedom. All of it. So this country could have one more shot at being what it was supposed to be.
⠀
And the truth nobody wants to admit?
⠀
We didn’t deserve a President like you.
⠀
A nation this divided, this ungrateful, this asleep at the wheel didn’t earn a man willing to bleed for it. But God sent you anyway. And I’ll thank Him for that until the day I die. 🙏
⠀
So when the day finally comes that you walk away from that desk, I hope you sleep good. I hope your wife laughs again without looking over her shoulder. I hope your kids breathe easy. I hope you golf till the sun goes down and nobody bothers you for nothing.
⠀
You earned every bit of it.
⠀
Thank you, Mr. President. From a truck driver in Texas who prays for you often.
⠀
God bless you. God bless your family. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Can I get an amen?
Or do you want to focus only on the bad?
What are you talking about! You don’t know a damn thing about what the President has or hasn’t said…just look at his history with African Americans and really anyone of color…you may not like his mean tweets about idiots and carpet baggers and grifters but you would be hard pressed to find credible evidence of the Racism you are implying…
That should be on national television!📺!
You can really feel what he is saying because you can actually see he means what he is saying. Those were not just words for me it was feeling his meaning behind his words.
Yeah man. An Air Force General said these things. An Air Force General talks about having good morals.
Love this man! If only the man in the Oval Office would heed these words!
I was born in 1961 IN AMERICA.
So my name is William Michael Holte, not Muhammad, Mohamed, Kwame, Kofi or Bakari.
I’m not African-American, I’m American.
I’m not a black American, I’m American.
My loyalty belongs to America, not to any fake African identity.
My history is American history, not African history.
My colors are red, white, and blue - not red, black, and green.
My anthem is the Star-Spangled Banner, not the Black National Anthem.
My flag is the Stars and Stripes, not the African Union banner.
My symbol is the bald eagle, not the Black Power fist or the letters "BLM."
I celebrate Christmas, not Kwanzaa.
I celebrate Independence Day, not Juneteenth.
I went to a white Catholic college, not an HBCU.
I got ahead through hard work and good education, not DEI and Affirmative Action.
In school, I recited The Pledge of Allegiance TO AMERICA.
I support The U.S. Constitution, not the weaponization of it against American citizens.
My future is tied to America’s success, not to racist democrat takeover policies.
And my president is Donald J Trump, not anybody else.
Who's with me on this?
If you call yourself a Christian and vote Democrat - how do you reconcile it?
How do you reconcile supporting a party that has openly pushed:
• Nationwide abortion protections and codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law. The 2024 Democratic platform explicitly calls for restoring/enshrining abortion protections nationally.
• Expanded access to abortion medication and abortion services, including executive actions defending abortion access after Dobbs.
• Support for “gender-affirming care”, including endorsement of transgender medical treatments in the party platform.
• Backing the Equality Act, legislation supported by Democrats that would add sexual orientation and gender identity to federal civil-rights law; critics argue it could create conflicts with some religious-liberty claims.
• Federal DEI / equity initiatives across agencies under Biden-era executive orders, including “Equity Action Plans” government-wide.
• Recognition/expansion of LGBTQ protections across education, military, and federal policy.
• The Respect for Marriage Act, codifying federal recognition/protection for same-sex marriage.
• Taxpayer-funded programs and protections aligned with progressive gender ideology, pushed through agency guidance and executive actions during the Biden administration.
I’m not asking this sarcastically - I’m genuinely asking:
How do you read the Bible, profess Christ, and then vote for a platform that consistently advances policies directly opposing traditional Christian teachings on life, marriage, gender, and family?
You do not have to like every Republican. You do not have to worship President Trump.
But at some point you have to ask yourself:
When one party increasingly defends biblical values imperfectly, and the other openly legislates against them - how can a Christian justify supporting the latter?
Faith is not just what you say in church. Faith is reflected in what you endorse at the ballot box.
