We have been working for 4 years with a group of volunteers, at first, to try and save the library from closure and then to try and take on the former library building. Our aim is to set up a community library that can also act as a community hub to bring Rainhill Together again
That's the quietest collective "AGREED" I've ever heard at a council meeting!
But then again closing libraries where our children's aspiration & inspiration is born and vulnerable people are supported by community, is nothing for the self proclaimed FAKE socialists to shout about
WE ❤️ EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY TAKING PART❤️
COME AND VISIT OUR WONDERFUL LIBRARY AND LOCOMOTIVE TRIALS EXHIBITION THAT IS STILL OPEN BECAUSE RAINHILL CARED ENOUGH TO STAND UP ❤️
🎊Congratulations🎊
To the 8 nominees in the Railway & Heritage Society school poster competition👏
🗳Now it's up to you Rainhill to visit our Library over half term to cast your deciding vote🗳

So nearly our Rainhill Library under @StHLabour controlled @sthelenscouncil
Labour controlled Knowsley succeeded in their plans and the mock up Christmas card from 2015 reminds us of another statutory resource lost by Labour for future generations of children
#protectyyourlibrary
Who is this person and why have they not supported our campaign and our fight to save our historic Rainhill Trials exhibition attached to our library.
He understands how important our railways are and that we should value our heritage. Thank you
