@tonyhazzard We have mobile signal here. For some reason our landline with Talk Talk is off ( Talk Talk don’t know why) Since it took us some time to discover it wasn’t working, we are wondering whether to continue with it. Anyone any thoughts?

[A V howitt 🍃💚🍃 @AvcHowitt]

@tonyhazzard Well you might like some of the old photos and history in some of the Rainhill Civic Society publications?

[A V howitt 🍃💚🍃 @AvcHowitt]

@tonyhazzard I know you don’t really do FB but if you can summon up the will, you might well enjoy a page I manage. Rainhill Appreciation Page. No comments allowed , just photos of Rainhill and reactions to them. Xx

@tonyhazzard It is pretty lethal crossing the link road and very sadly there have been a number of tragedies. It still makes for a good boundary walk though with care. Xx

Problem is the nonsense algorithm which doubled housing targets for rural areas whilst reducing them for urban areas.
New NPPF then punishes councils when these ridiculous targets aren't met. But councils don't build, developers do, and they won't if there is no demand.
