@NCAA we already have the NFL. I'm a Seahawks fan. I don't start wearing USC gear because Boise State was squeezed out. The NFL Lite version has never worked...
@ESPNCFB@JessePalmerTV These guys act like we don't already have a watered down bowl system. The field is going to expand due to the watered down bowl system. It has too. Networks aren't going to continue to pay at the rate they do for a declining rev stream.
@fastmoneyyant@blurtversus Your analysis of the wave and three and out had me dying last night. You described it so well I felt like I was there. Literally rolling around.
@BParry19@JakeRunyon Asking Arnold to drop back in the 4th in a one score game with an unproven run and a worn out line is tough.
They were way over committed on the rush and we kept feeding them. Gotta get it out quick in that scenario.
@BParry19@JakeRunyon Needed to get Jet going in the 4th. The pass rush turned the line into Swiss. Direct them into the gap Jet won’t be in. Let him make guys miss.
Him and Flowe are the teams identity. Flowe had zero tackles?
Pope was an animal.
@jasonkredline Plenty to play for still.
With you being an attorney now 🙌, what is your read on how the eligibility plays out?
If the players that were held out eventually gain eligibility, who’s liable for their lost time and compensation?
Preventing players with CFP aspirations 😬
@ImmaculateView@flatland_sports More participation in a second-tier playoff isn’t the opposite of exclusion if you’ve first excluded those schools from the top championship. Why should Boise State be relegated while Purdue, Rutgers or Miss State stay in the top tier solely because of conference affiliation?
@ImmaculateView@flatland_sports I remember you tweeting this.
They’re considering an autonomy subdivision — not two playoffs approved.
If the A4 use weighted NCAA control to create a subdivision, then use CFP control to exclude 60+ FBS schools while keeping most of the money, expect a massive antitrust fight.
@ImmaculateView@flatland_sports That very arrogance is what is killing college football. Don't count out future antitrust suits.
The system is unraveling by the day.
@ImmaculateView@flatland_sports SEC - $21m-$22m ($336m - $352m)
B1G - $21m-$22m ($378m - $396m)
ACC - $13m ($221m)
Big 12 - $12m ($192m)
Entire G6 - $120m (69 schools)
What does it matter. They've already squeezed everything out of it.
Asking the G6 to trust them after creating this system is crazy.
@ImmaculateView@flatland_sports That's the problem with it all. The "Autonomous Committee" wants to lump every "G5/6 school" in the same category and compensate them as such, but then compensate themselves weighted on their conference affiliation. No governing has occurred. Its just been a cash grab.
