@ONT_Dad Before Covid, I had 25 kids in my class, during it was closer to 20. Next year it’s 30. I don’t have enough room for them to sit comfortably or to work with the 12 that need extra support. Just give me the space and support the kids need.

I have been living (and working with) the nightmare of long covid for the past few months.

My left hand only partially works and my arm pains. Have weird rashes. Heart races. Can't sleep. Feel weird.

@1CeliaGreen Hubby works at home, so our decision not to send them was easy. The teachers in the school didn’t enforce masks when they were supposed to, they definitely won’t now. My class talked about how our choices affect those around us, like the ppl we live with. They all mask but one.

Yesterday I refused to go to our staff mtg that was being held with all staff in the gym. 1/3 of our staff aren’t masked. I told my P he couldn’t force me to go in there and sit with unmasked adults, some not vaxxed. I got to watch through Teams.

The idea that primary teachers & EAs don’t mask, and work with vulnerable & unvaxxed kids, is crazy to me. Kids have to wear goggles in badminton, can’t stand on chairs, and no liquid whiteout, but airborne Covid’s no big deal. This shit makes my brain hurt.

@EDUwithEmily Book a second spring fair-the rewards are usually better and book two for next year. I ran them as a business with the gr8s. They applied for jobs (mgmt, cash, marketing, etc) and they got to decide on legacy spending for the library/school in remembrance of their grad class
