In Austin, TX we have several COVID-19 patients on ECMO (complete heart & lung bypass), the last attempt at survival from COVID.

The youngest is 19 yrs old
The oldest is only 39.

These were all preventable.
This is not the same virus it used to be.

My scholarship to @txlutheran through Sharing God’s love was for students with a parent in prison. Not all counselors can help students find the story, let alone turn it into passion and drive for kids like me. @AustinISD make it make sense.

It’s sad to see once again our students get the short end of the stick
