A Rwandan individual has admitted that Rwanda infiltrated our army (#DRC) as early as 2014, with many Rwandans changing their nationality to Congolese under Kabila’s watch. When asked how many soldiers were involved, he replied that there are far too many, including colonels and generals, and began naming them.

It’s clear now: these infiltrators were placed to weaken our army, passing intelligence back to Paul Kagame, which has allowed Rwanda to manipulate and undermine our defense efforts. This explains why places like Goma fall so easily — with certain generals instructing soldiers to lay down their arms and flee, abandoning them in battle.

Rwanda has intelligence before attacking the #DRC. When the Congolese community calls Kabila a Rwandan ally and an enemy, Rwandan operatives flood the conversation with lies to mislead the public. It’s sad to see. Remember, 2014 was just a few years before Kabila left power.

The proposed U.S.-DRC mineral partnership is very simple.

It will be led by the United States private sector, not the government, but will have the support and backing of the United States government. It will be transparent, free of corruption, and must benefit the United States and "all" the people of the #DRC.

Lasting peace in the DRC and adherence to US and international anti-bribery and corruption laws are essential to any meaningful progression of the proposed partnership. We will vet and provide to @realDonaldTrump administration and Congress the names of any individuals or entities we believe are seeking to exploit the United States for financial gain.
