🔹 MLA Local Area Development Fund increased from ₹70 lakh to ₹1 crore, enabling faster execution of development projects at the grassroots level.

🔹 A dedicated Struggle Allowance for political workers who were jailed in allegedly false cases recognizes the sacrifices made in the fight against political persecution.

🔹 Mid-Day Meal cooks will receive an additional ₹1,000 per month, supporting those who help nourish millions of schoolchildren every day.

#WATCH | South 24 Parganas, West Bengal: Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari says, “Out of the 54 govt schemes, the most important is Ayushman Bharat. Under this, if your name is registered in the portal, you will get free treatment worth upto Rs 5 lakh in any govt or private hospital anywhere in India…under the leadership of PM Modi, 60% of the amount will be provided by the central govt and 40% by the Bengal govt. Secondly, I urge the people residing in rural Bengal with little income to take steps to undertake solar lights under the PM Surya Ghar scheme. You will get subsidies of Rs 30,000 for 100 units, Rs 60,000 for 200 units, and Rs 78,000 for 300 units. Moreover, you will not have to pay any electricity bill. Third, Annapurna Yojana’s form was detailed as under the previous govt, it had faced a huge corruption…the money has been transferred to the accounts of 28 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme. Till now, 1,05,00,000 women have registered themselves…they will get the money of June transferred by July 1.”
