Arresting an accused and getting them punished is a good thing—but making PR by saying “Justice Delivered in 72 Hours” is quite another.

According to the NCRB, 7,805 cases against women were registered in Gujarat in 2023. The Gujarat government's 181 Abhayam helpline received approximately 1.4 million calls about women's distress in nine years, and approximately 50,000 cases were referred to the police.

So the question is, Harsh Sanghavi ji—
When will every woman get such swift and firm justice?

मगर, चुनिंदा "मित्रों" के लिए बैंक का पैसा निजी संपत्ति है - कितना भी निकालो, जो मर्ज़ी चुकाओ।

मोदी सरकार ने देश में दो व्यवस्थाएं बना रखी हैं - एक चंद अरबपतियों के लिए, दूसरी बाक़ी सबके लिए।

NCLT ने IBC के तहत इसे मंजूरी दी है, लेकिन सवाल सरकार से भी है:

जब मामला public money और banks की recovery का हो, तो इतनी बड़ी रकम पर इतनी कम recovery क्यों?

मोदी सरकार को देश के taxpayers और depositors को जवाब देना चाहिए — क्या यही “recovery” का नया मॉडल है?

गरीब और middle class के लिए नियम इतने सख्त, और बड़े borrowers के लिए इतनी बड़ी राहत क्यों?

Indian Express ne “91% of all deleted voters” nahi kaha. Report clearly says 75,443 out of 82,782 disposed appeals resulted in names being restored — 91%.

But the bigger question remains: 27.28 lakh voters were marked “Not Eligible”, while only around 7 lakh appealed for restoration. And the EC received 38.10 lakh total appeals.

Calling the report “fake” doesn’t answer these questions. Explain the numbers.

“91% DELETED NAMES BACK IN BENGAL” — A MISLEADING HEADLINE

Here’s the actual breakdown of the appeals.

Out of 27 lakh deletions, only 7 lakh appeals were filed against deletion. That means 20 lakh people did not appeal, effectively accepting the SIR verdict of deletion.

And the remaining 31 lakh appeals were filed seeking further deletions, not against deletion.

Now, headlines are screaming that 91% of 82,782 names are “back” in Bengal’s electoral roll as SIR tribunals dispose of appeals.

But 82,782 is only the number of appeals disposed of, not the number of people who were originally deleted and have now been restored.

Simple math. Context matters. Headlines shouldn’t replace it.
