Iran has replaced its reliance on UAE ports with Pakistani ports, specially Gwadar, as part of efforts to enhance the supply-chain security.

This decision comes after years of Iran depending on UAE ports — especially Jebel Ali Port — to handle the majority of its imports and transit operations.

Tens of billions of dollars’ worth of Iranian goods pass annually through the UAE ports to Iran.

Iran utilizing Pakistan’s Gwadar Port is expected to increase Pakistan–Iran trade by billions of dollars.

I've said this before, but it's frankly insulting the calibre of "diplomats" the US sends to speak to Iranian delegations, who are ten times more qualified in perhaps every regard.

Pakistan has deployed a huge military contingent comprising 13,000 soldiers and 12-18 fighter jets in Saudi Arabia.

◾ Pakistan is likely to deploy at least 50,000 soldiers in Saudi Arabia, along with more fighter jets, sources say.

◾ This deployment in Saudi Arabia is a part of strategic defence agreement that both countries signed last year.

◾ This deployment has come amid the escalating tensions in Middle East as the US-Iran talks fail in Islamabad.

How Pakistan made the world over 3 trillion dollars richer

On April 7, the world edged toward Trump's 8pm ultimatum that "a whole civilization will die tonight." By mid-afternoon, Polymarket gave less than a 5% chance for a ceasefire. But then in a flurry of last-minute diplomacy led by Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif, ceasefire odds shifted from near-impossibility to 100%, as both U.S. and Iranian leadership publicly acknowledged the important role played by Pakistan.

The sharp shift in probability of ceasefire from near-zero to certainty, allows us to estimate cleanly the market value of Pakistan's successful diplomacy. There was a sharp jump of 2.9% in S&P500 around the ceasefire announcement. The reaction was similar the world over.

Global markets represent about $125T, so a 2.9% jump represents a gain of 3.6 trillion dollars for the world. Pakistan helped create TEN times its own GDP for the world!

For me, the best part is not the trillions of dollar, but seeing Pakistan on the world stage as a peace maker.

I hope Pakistan runs with this new identity by promoting peace not only abroad, but also at home. That means moving away from politics of division and exclusion, and treating every citizen as its own.

A message from Pakistan to people of Iran

[South Asia Index @SouthAsiaIndex]

Just IN: Pakistani fighter jets spotted over Bandar Abbas, Iran, to escort the Iranian delegation to Pakistan safely.

— Pakistan Air Force has established a "protective shield" across Iran and Persian Gulf supported by fighter jets & AWACS to protect Iranian delegation from any misadventure by Israel.

— The Iranian delegation, likely led by speaker of Iran's parliament, will arrive in Islamabad tonight for talks with US.

From a friend in Beirut:

“They bombed highly populated and non-evacuated areas. Last I heard there were 254 dead and 1169 injured. The day before, at the time they bombed, (my husband) and I were passing in that area. The casualties will rise because there are still people under the rubble. This is higher than the Beirut port explosion. And they are threatening that they will continue their unannounced raids for 48 hours. So nobody knows where they are going to bomb today. We don’t know anymore where it’s safe. And the sad thing is that they are getting away with everything they do and no one is able to stop them.”

All this because Benjamin Netanyahu understands that peace will mean the end of his tenure as Israel’s Prime Minister.

The people of Lebanon suffer because of the ego of one man.

A man who heads a nation of genocidal maniacs.

Where is Europe?

Where is Russia?

Where is China?

Don’t bother asking where America is.

We lost our moral compass a long time ago.

We stand with Israel.

We stand with the murderers.

My observations:
1. Iran has won the WAR. Negotiations will be on Iran's 10 points framework for permanent peace.
2. Iran's terms will be accepted by Trump. Why? Will explain.
3. With this WAR, the hegemonic age is over: No followers, only partner nations. India will be the sole exception in the world.
4. Pakistan has emerged as more than a credible mediator - a geopolitical asset in the New World Order.
I will explain the above in my video to be online by today (Wednesday April 8) evening!
