Today, the Yuva Booth Bahini Sammelan was successfully held in the Bhawanipur–Sarbhog constituency.

More than 5,000 dedicated youth karyakartas participated, making the event vibrant and impactful.
The Yuva Booth Bahinis will undoubtedly play a crucial and decisive role in strengthening the organisational framework of the BJP in the days to come. With the vision of transforming youth power into national power, today’s gathering reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of our young workforce towards the party and the nation.
To strengthen the State’s health sector, I had an engaging discussion with Shri Ishmeet Singh, CEO of the Piramal Foundation.
Shri Singh provided an update on the pilot project launched a year ago in Darrang, which is driving digital transformation in healthcare through the Swasthya Application. Widely used by ASHA workers, the application has improved last-mile case tracking by enabling real-time data entry, case monitoring, and follow-up alerts, thereby enhancing efficiency, transparency, and the quality of grassroots service delivery.
He also shared that a Swasthya Samiksha Kendra has been established in Darrang in collaboration with the National Health Mission (NHM) to support data-driven decision-making and strengthen local health interventions.
In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, we explored opportunities for collaboration under Project SWASTH ASSAM – StateWide Alliance for System Transformation in Health. The initiative aims to enhance service delivery, ensure a high-quality continuum of care, and improve community-level outreach, particularly addressing challenges in reproductive health, maternal health, and childcare.

In a chilling Pahalgam-style attack in Fakirabasti, Hojai (Assam), Hindu boys who started filming a cow-smuggling racket were asked “Are you Hindus?”; the moment they said yes, a jihadi mob—including children and burqa-clad women—brutally beat and chased them simply for their Hindu identity. One youth escaped to narrate the horror, highlighting the growing “mini Bangladesh” pockets where Hindus now live in fear.
Lachit Borphukan’s memory stands in Assam like a sacred flame, steady through centuries, teaching us what it means to defend our land with honour in the heart & duty in the bones.
On #LachitDiwas, I pay my respectful homage to the great son of Assam, whose leadership at Saraighat still echoes across our rivers & hills.
His spirit call on us to serve with integrity, courage & pride.
