2023 — Mukherjee Nagar ke Sanskriti IAS wali building me aag lagi, darjano students injured hue. Us waqt Delhi Govt me AAP thi aur MCD me bhi AAP thi. (The Indian Express)

2024 — Old Rajinder Nagar ke Rau’s IAS Study Circle ke basement me pani bharne se 3 students ki jaan chali gayi. Us waqt bhi Delhi Govt me AAP thi aur MCD me bhi AAP thi.

Lekin mera point kisi ek political party ko bachana ya dosh dena nahi hai.

Sarkar kisi ki bhi ho, ground par zimmedari fix honi chahiye — local authorities ki, local police ki, MCD ke responsible officers aur workers ki, building/coaching owners ki, aur un sabki jinka kaam rules aur safety norms ko enforce karna hai.

Jab tak har tragedy ke baad ye political “monkey dance” chalta rahega, kuch nahi badlega.

Kal AAP ki sarkar thi to BJP protest kar rahi thi. Aaj BJP ki sarkar hai to kal Congress ya AAP protest karegi. Phir kabhi Congress ki sarkar aayegi to BJP aur AAP protest karenge.

I'm sure the Delhi govt will soon order a structural audit of all old buildings.

That’s just how the sarkari system works. Pul gir gaya, order bridge audit. Aag lag gayi, order fire audit. School ki chhat gir gayi, order school structural audit. Dawai se bachhe mar gaye, order pharma companies audit. Prevention ka system hi nahi hai. Sarkari kaam balidaan maangta hai.

But the irony is, kaam balidaan ke baad bhi nahi hota. All these knee-jerk audit drives become yet another opportunity for the sarkari naukars to earn more. "Oopar se pressure hai" bol kar they demand more and let the defaulters continues to operate unabated.
