Strongly condemn the misbehavior faced by the Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh, at Delhi International Airport. The misconduct by Air India staff of flight number AI183 (New Delhi to San Francisco), towards a highly respected and religiously significant figure of the Sikh community is deeply disappointing.
This incident is not just a case of misbehavior towards an individual, but an act of disrespect towards the Sikh faith and its revered personality. An immediate investigation into this incident should be marked by the Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri @RamMNK and @MoCA_GoI and strict action must be taken against the employees responsible for the misconduct. It is essential to ensure that India’s national airline never treats any passenger in such a manner that brings shame to the country.
The SGPC has directed in-charge of its Sikh Mission in Delhi to raise the issue with the relevant authorities and take any necessary further steps.
@airindia
This theatrics needs to end now.
States like Maharashtra and Gujarat continue sea trade with Pakistan even during turbulent times, Panjab’s only trade route via Wagah-Attari has been shut since 2019 over bad relations.
Why should Panjab alone bear the burden of nationalism?

Guru Nanak Patshah stood firmly against idol worship, grave worship, and body worship. However, Sikh principles are often deliberately misrepresented or mocked in India, seemingly to provoke the Sikh community. For example, in this video, someone portrays Guru Nanak Patshah inappropriately.
When Sikhs protest such actions, the justification given is often that it was meant as a form of respect toward the Sikh Gurus. This can be seen as an ongoing effort, particularly under Modi's rule, to assimilate Sikh identity into the broader framework of Hinduism.
Watch how Indian government sponsored media bullied an innocent Canadian officer and made his and his family’s life hell.
CBSA officer Sundeep Sidhu with @EvanDyerCBC.
This video is coming from Rudarpur Uttrakhand , where you can see a police officer man handling a Sikh youth . Government Should take strict action against police officer for such act as it is against law #Sikh#beadbi#Khalsa#rudarpur@thaSikhs@everythings_13@RamblingSingh
The elder man was not defecating in the open. He's clearly wearing pants, not shorts - contrary to the photo that was initially shared. The racism and hate that's been spread about this incident is disappointing and alarming.
Out of respect for the senior citizen involved we are not providing any further comment on this.

As the sun rose on 7 June 1984, piles of dead bodies of Sikh women, children and men blanketed the Parikarma of Sri Darbar Sahib. Blood covered the walls and floors of Sikhs’ holiest of shrines. The water in the holy Sarovar had turned a deep shade of red.
Giving statement on Chandigarh airport issue, BJP Kangana Ranaut concluded her remarks saying "how we will handle increasing terrorism in #Punjab".
She gave terrorism tag to Punjab over a slap. Is this not hate?
