I recently stayed in Paris for over a month. The day I came back, that very day, I had a major panic attack.
On the BLR airport.

Reason: I had forgotten that men in India like eye-raping women even when they are covering every single inch of their bodies.

I had 4 different men follow/stare at me at an international airport in India.

Normally I am “used to this”, but “unfortunately” I was too happy living freely for the last 30 days that I forgot what it is to be a woman in India.

I ended up waiting near a CRPF jawan until there was sunlight and then took a cab.

If you don’t have to share your live location with your family while travelling alone if you don’t have to think 10 times before wearing something so that you don’t “provoke” the other person if you don’t have to ask a man to accompany you to feel safe, you are privileged and you have NO right to tell women of this country what they should do.
