Today, the Joint Committee on the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 chaired by Dr. @sanjayjaiswalMP, MP, undertook Clause-wise briefing on various provisions of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026 by representatives of Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Law and Justice.

They also heard the views of the following Domain Experts/Stakeholders on the provisions of the FCRA Bill, 2026 :

(i) Shri Challa Sreenivasulu Setty,
Chairman, SBI;
(ii) Shri Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India; and Shri Chetan
Sharma, Additional Solicitor General of India (High Court of Delhi);
(iii) Ms. Gursimran
Kohli, AZB & Partners; and
(iv) Shri Tushaar Nair, Advocate, Supreme Court of India
