6 hours have passed, yet no official communication on the compensatory holiday. Several Affiliates hv already raised this demand.I urge AIBOC to act today and formally seek 1 compensatory holiday, preferably on 3rd Oct. Our members sacrificed their Sunday. @aiboc_in@rupamsmail
Officers & staff sacrificed their Sunday to ensure the 3-day strike’s success. 1 day salary alone is not sufficient. We deserve one compensatory off, preferably on 3rd oct. Our contribution deserves tangible compensation, not merely appreciation. @aiboc_in@UFBUIndia@rupamsmail
Conrades, it’s time to gear up, stand united and make our voice impossible to ignore.
To those who think we are “not cool”—let us show them how coolly, calmly and collectively we can demonstrate the power of our unity. 😎✊ Let every member be visible on street on 11 September.
121 years of Trust. Service. Commitment. 🇮🇳 From 1906 to 2026, Bank of India has grown with the nation, serving its people and powering India’s progress.
Proud of our legacy. Ready for tomorrow.

A parliamentary question to the policy makers: If a bank performs above 80%, why must 20% of its officers receive zero #PLI ? And if employees accepted longer daily hours, why must all Saturdays remain pending? This is not reform; it is administrative arithmetic without human fairness. Government must stop forced ranking and honour.

The Government should take note: the demand for a 5-Day Banking Week is so dear to bankers that even at 13,859 ft, they carry that message and proudly unfurl its flag.

A very pertinent observation by @TamalBandyo ji. Transparency in promotions is not merely an HR ideal—it is central to morale, credibility, and institutional integrity. When processes lack clarity and uniformity, it inevitably impacts motivation and trust at all levels.
As stakeholders in the system, we strongly believe that well-defined, objective, and transparent promotion frameworks are essential for sustaining both performance and fairness in all PSBs.
This is an area that deserves serious, system-wide introspection and reform.

India’s bankers demand dignity.Implement 5-Day Banking now.Productivity improves, service quality strengthens, and work–life balance becomes sustainable—burnout does not build nations. In modern economies, governments measure outcomes, not exhausted hours.
It’s time for real reform, not press releases.

When negotiation fails, resistance begins.
Bankers don’t want conflict — we want fairness.
A 5-day work week is not a luxury.
It is dignity. It is balance. It is justice. #Approve5DayBankingNow
India is 100% digital… but bankers are still working on a 1995 timetable.
UPI runs 24×7. ATMs work 365 days.
Digital payments never sleep —
only bankers are expected to.
🔹 90% routine banking is mobile & UPI, yet humans follow a 6-day “legacy protocol.”
🔹 Cash counters dropped by 60–70%, but pressure didn’t get the memo.
🔹 Technology upgraded instantly; human recharge time is still “under review.”
🔹 A 6-day week fuels burnout and fatigue — clearly not the smartest digital upgrade.
🔹 5-Day Banking saves thousands of crores, but rest is still treated as a premium feature.
The irony is that India built a lightning-fast digital economy but forgot to update the humans running it.
The simple truth is bankers are asking for 5-Day Banking not for comfort, but because humans — unlike machines — need a restart.
