The gaming industry is SOOO rotten with misogyny.

When I wanted to pursue a career in esports and become the leader of my own team, my boss took everything away from me because he was SO jealous that my team kept winning tournaments. He took my team away from me, only for them to turn against him and leave the team entirely. There wasn't a single team better than mine left on his roster after that.

Not to mention the massive amount of men who can't stand a girl being better than them.

This stupid rhetoric pisses me off so bad because you literally have no idea what it's like to exist in spaces where men think you don't belong, when INDEED WE DO, constantly having to prove time and time again that you deserve to be there, as if you had to prove that you even deserve to exist, it was so exhausting

Seeing a man advocate for and genuinely want to know this game is huge, considering how judgmental and misogynistic gamers can be in general!

Trust me, the multimillion dollar game made for women by women will be fine

Remember the case a while back of a teenage boy who killed himself after his classmates accused him of rape. Men were frothing calling for the death penalty for the girls, till it turned out he went to a all boys school and they never mentioned the case again.

He absolutely would. It's called compassion.

What is compassion? It's the feeling you have when you see someone going through something bad or cruel—a cat stuck in a tree, a child being bullied by other kids, a woman being abused, and so on. And that feeling brings out the best in human beings: the urge to protect.

And Sylus is compassionate. Some of my favorite words of his are:

"Rest if you are tired. Cry if you are sad. Don't do it if you don't want to. I'll be there every step of the way."

In this short quote, you can see all of it: acknowledging someone's pain, respecting their feelings and boundaries, and offering support.

Sylus may not care much about how people see him or what they think of him, but he would absolutely feel for someone in trouble or in danger, and he would absolutely try to help them. Because he used to be on the other side himself, he knows what it feels like. And it didn't break him—it made him stronger. It made him the man we all love, even if he isn't real.

So yes, seeing the injustice Valko is facing, Sylus would be on our side, fighting for him.
