On this blessed day, may Allah shower us with His endless mercy, ease every hardship we face, and fill our hearts with peace and contentment. May He grant healing to the sick, answer our sincere prayers, forgive our shortcomings, and bless our loved ones who have passed away with the highest place in Jannah. May we always remain among those who remember Him, place our trust in Him, and are embraced by His infinite compassion. Ameen

RT. HON. YUSUF LIMAN AT 46: FELICITATIONS TO AN EXEMPLARY SPEAKER AND DEPENDABLE ALLY
On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I extend my warmest felicitations to the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, on the joyous occasion of his 46th birthday anniversary.
Mr. Speaker, your life in public service continues to reflect courage, discipline and an abiding devotion to the common good. In presiding over the legislature, you have demonstrated uncommon maturity, fairness and respect for democratic principles, ensuring that debate remains robust while the interests of our people remain paramount.
Your leadership has been central to the strong and constructive partnership between the Executive and Legislature. That partnership, founded on mutual respect, consultation and a shared commitment to Kaduna State, has strengthened stability, accelerated the passage of people-centred laws and enabled our administration to respond more decisively to the needs of citizens.
As you mark this milestone, I thank you for your steadfast friendship and dependable support. I pray that Almighty Allah grants you sound health, deeper wisdom, renewed strength and many more years of purposeful service. May the years ahead bring greater fulfilment, enduring peace and accomplishments worthy of your distinguished calling in service to humanity.
Happy birthday, Mr. Speaker.
Senator Uba Sani, CON
Governor of Kaduna State
On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I extend felicitations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, OON, on the auspicious occasion of her 66th birthday.
This milestone celebrates a woman whose life has been distinguished by faith, courage, public service and compassion for humanity. Through the years, Her Excellency has remained a dependable pillar of strength to her husband, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he steers the ship of state through the waters of national renewal.
The President’s testimony in his personal tribute to the First Lady that: “the burdens that were mine to bear often found their way onto your shoulders” and that “the thoughts I could not put into words somehow found their way to you” reveals a partnership sustained by uncommon understanding, sacrifice and shared purpose. In every season, the First Lady has stood beside Mr President with dignity, fortitude and prayerful devotion, offering the quiet strength that consequential leadership so often requires.
Beyond her exemplary role within the First Family, I can attest to the fact that Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a compassionate mother and a detribalised Nigerian whose concern for others rises above religion, ethnicity, geography and social station. Her long record of service: from Lagos State to the Senate and now as First Lady, reflects a consistent commitment to the dignity and advancement of the Nigerian people.
Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, she has translated compassion into humane and inclusive interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, social welfare, and the empowerment of women and young people. These initiatives resonate beyond policy: they touch lives, restore dignity and rekindle hope among vulnerable Nigerians across our country.
On this joyful occasion, I salute Her Excellency’s grace, patriotism and steadfast devotion to nation-building. I pray that Almighty God grants her many more years in excellent health, abiding peace, renewed strength and fulfilment. May He continue to preserve her as a source of wisdom and support to Mr President, a blessing to her family and an enduring light of hope to our nation.
Happy 66th birthday, Your Excellency.
Senator Uba Sani, CON Governor of Kaduna State
September 21, 2026
I deeply appreciate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for recognising Kaduna State’s FREE CNG Mass Transit Programme as an example of the impactful interventions needed at the subnational level. This recognition affirms our commitment to designing policies that directly improve the lives of our people.
Kaduna State remains the only state in Nigeria providing FREE CNG mass transit to its citizens. In its first year, the scheme recorded about 3.2 million passenger trips, saving commuters over ₦3.5 billion. These savings represent real relief for workers, students, traders, families and other residents, helping households retain more of their hard-earned income. Our commitment is to sustain people-centred governance by reducing the burden on vulnerable households, expanding access to essential services and creating opportunities for citizens to thrive.
We remain grateful to Mr. President for the continued support to subnational governments and the efforts to create an enabling environment for states to translate national policies into practical interventions that deliver meaningful benefits to our people.
Senator Uba Sani, CON
Governor, Kaduna State.

“APPRAISING UBA SANI’S BOLD RESCUE OF KADUNA’S OUT-OF-SCHOOL CHILDREN”
By Abdulkareem Kubau
The truest measure of an education policy is not the elegance of its declarations, but the number of children whose lives it changes. In Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has steadily moved education reform from aspiration to measurable action, confronting one of the gravest threats to the state’s future: the exclusion of children from school. His administration has treated the out-of-school crisis neither as an inherited misfortune nor as an insoluble feature of northern Nigeria, but as an emergency demanding money, evidence, competent management and sustained political will.
That seriousness is visible first in the state’s priorities. For three consecutive years, education has received the largest single share of Kaduna’s budget. The sector took 25 per cent in 2024, 26.14 per cent in 2025 and 25 per cent of the N985.9 billion 2026 budget. In a public culture where education is frequently celebrated in speeches but weakened in expenditure, this consistency matters. It has given institutional weight to the administration’s conviction that Kaduna cannot defeat poverty, insecurity, unemployment or social exclusion without first enlarging access to knowledge.
The investment supports a broader architecture of reform. Tuition fees in state-owned tertiary institutions were halved, contributing to an enrolment rise exceeding 200 per cent. The retirement age for teachers moved from 60 to 65, while the state committed to recruiting 2,000 primary school teachers annually. Across the 23 local government areas, thousands of classrooms have been built or renovated and essential facilities, furniture and learning materials provided. School feeding has strengthened retention, while extensive education data capture has improved planning.
Yet the defining strength of the Governor Sani approach is its recognition that improved schools alone cannot solve exclusion. A classroom may exist while the poorest child remains unable to enter it. Tuition may be free while uniforms, books, transport, levies and the loss of a child’s labour place education beyond a family’s means.
In Kaduna’s household mapping, economic constraints accounted for 58.5 per cent of exclusion, and lack of money dominated the reasons given within that category. “Free education” therefore describes a legal entitlement; it does not erase the real price borne by vulnerable households.
This understanding places the Reaching Out-of-School Children Project at the heart of the Governor Sani administration’s education agenda. ROOSC is not a ceremonial programme or isolated donor initiative. It expresses Governor Sani’s determination to find excluded children, understand why each is outside the classroom, remove the barrier and create a pathway into sustained learning. Valued at $62.8 million and operating across all 23 local government areas, the four-year intervention combines state funding with grants and technical support.
Its ambition is substantial. ROOSC aims to enrol 100,000 out-of-school children and benefit 1.2 million learners. It provides for 102 new schools and learning centres, 170 renovations and work on 2,304 classrooms. It will strengthen school-based management committees, train teachers and officers, improve learning outcomes and make schools safer and more inclusive. Civil works have commenced, but the project’s reach extends beyond buildings.
Children who cannot immediately return through conventional schooling are offered flexible routes. Accelerated basic education enables older learners to recover lost years. Integrated Qur’anic and Tsangaya education combines religious instruction with literacy, numeracy and life skills. Catch-up clubs prepare dropouts for re-entry, while radio lessons reach difficult terrain.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ACROSS KADUNA’S 23 LGAs
The Kaduna State Government, through the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB), is strengthening basic education administration with the distribution of digital devices to SUBEB and LGEA officers across the 23 LGAs.
The devices will enhance data management, school monitoring, reporting, communication and service delivery.
As public assets, beneficiaries are expected to safeguard them, use them strictly for official duties and ensure full accountability for their proper utilisation.
Technology. Accountability. Efficiency. Better Basic Education.

I must make special mention of Kaduna, where I commissioned their CNG mass transit programme under Governor Uba Sani @ubasanius last year.
100 CNG-powered buses are providing free transportation on major routes across the State. In their first year of operation alone, the buses carried about 3.2 million passengers, saving commuters more than ₦3.5 billion in transport costs.
This is more of what we need to see at the subnational level.
The Federal Government under our administration is ready to support the subnationals and our citizens in this regard.
Today's summary of the construction works carried out by the Governor of kaduna state. UBA SANI.
Romi-Karatudu Road Completed
- Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has completed the Romi-Karatudu Road, constructed by Mothecat Limited.
- The road connects Kaduna South and Chikun LGAs and links to the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway at Federal Housing Estate Junction, Gonin Gora.
- Groundbreaking was on 14th August, 2024 — completed about a year later. It now only awaits road markings.
- The report notes that at least three civilian governors and one military administrator had promised the road, with only the late Governor Patrick Yakowa having initiated it over 14 years ago before his death.
- The community is expressing gratitude to Governor Sani and says they will repay the gesture with their votes, and other parties need not campaign there.
Kaduna: Over 5,000 land disputes resolved, 150 revoked titles restored in nearly four years
The Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) says it has resolved more than 5,000 land disputes and restored over 150 land titles that were unjustly revoked in the last three and a half years.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Kaduna, Bashir Garba Ibrahim, director-general of KADGIS, said Uba Sani, governor of the state, directed the agency to resolve all outstanding cases inherited from previous administrations.

For residents of Karatudu in Chikun LGA, Kaduna State, the construction of new asphalt roads under Governor Uba Sani is changing everyday life.
For many in the community, this is their first experience of asphaltic roads which brings easier movement, better connectivity and improved access within Karatudu and beyond.
This is what inclusive development looks like: taking infrastructure to communities and connecting people to opportunity.

KADUNA UPDATE: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR has commended the Kaduna State Government’s FREE CNG mass transit programme under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, CON describing the initiative as an example of the kind of intervention needed at the subnational level.
In a post on his official X account, President Tinubu specifically highlighted Kaduna’s deployment of 100 CNG-powered buses, which carried approximately 3.2 million passengers in their first year of operation, saving commuters more than ₦3.5 billion in transportation costs. Kaduna is currently the only state in Nigeria operating a free CNG mass transit programme of this nature.
The presidential recognition underscores the significance of Kaduna’s CNG mass transit programme as part of Governor Uba Sani’s broader efforts to deliver practical interventions that directly improve the welfare and living standards of residents.

If the opposition wants to criticise Governor @ubasanius that is their right, but criticism should not be built on a false narrative.
The claim that Governor Uba Sani abandoned inherited road projects in Kaduna does not align with the record.
His administration inherited several road projects and has continued, revived and completed many of them across the state.
Hanwa Ruga–Hanwa Yangoro — completed.
Dogon Bauchi–Kakiyayi–Dakace, including the bridge — completed.
Ohinoyi Road — completed.
Sultan Surame Road — completed.
Unguwan Sarkin Musulmi–Isa Kaita Road Network — completed.
Nassarawa–Flour Mills Road — completed.
Others, including Rabah–Rigasa Train Station, Pan Drive–Television–Sabon Tasha and Aliyu Makama–Kabala Costain, are ongoing.
Opposition is part of democracy. But facts should remain facts, regardless of who is in government.
Promises made. Projects inherited. Projects revived. Projects completed.
