We are witnessing the erosion of our culture, the decay of our institutions, the destruction of social cohesion, and the betrayal of the working American man through outsourcing and cheap labor. In the coming years you will see things that disgust you. You will feel anger, alienation, and despair.
But we will not surrender to the pathetic mentality of victimhood. We will not beg for sympathy, permission, or acceptance. We are not victims, and we will not behave like them.
I’ve spent my career in construction and I’ve seen firsthand what American workers are capable of. Our tradesmen shouldn’t have to compete in a race to the bottom on wages, and our industries shouldn’t be sacrificed for cheap foreign labor and bigger profits for contractors.
We need to put American workers, American families, and American industry first.
American labor built this nation. It’s time we started fighting for it.
