गज्जब! भकुण्डोभित्र विद्युतीय सेन्सर राखेर खेलका सबै सूक्ष्म गति मापन र अनुगमन गर्ने जमाना आइसक्यो! हामी चाहिं अझै आफ्ना साना नानीहरूलाई पुराना लुगाका डल्ला पारेर भकुण्डो खेलाउने आदिम चरणमा छौं! त्यसमाथि राष्ट्रिय स्तरमा ठालुहरूका जुँगाका लडाइँमा खेलकुद सम्बन्धी संघसंस्था र खेलाडीहरूको भविष्य ध्वस्त पार्छौं! अनि पाँच लाख जनसंख्या भएको फुच्चे टापू केब भार्डेले फुटबल विश्वकपमा तहल्का मच्चाउँदा हामी ट्वाँ परेर हेर्छौँ!

सबै गम्भीर बनौं! हामी सबै क्षेत्रमा विश्वको पुछारमा थच्चिन अभिसप्त छैनौं! हामी पनि विश्व सामू शीर ठाडो गरेर बाँच्न सक्छौं!

At Viswa Niketan Secondary School, I saw how investment in safer, more resilient schools can become an investment in Nepal’s future. Rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake, the school is now equipped with modern science and technology facilities as part of ADB’s continued investment in disaster risk management and human capital.

Nepal’s Minister of Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel joined me in launching a new module to strengthen AI literacy and teachers’ digital skills. Students also demonstrated an AI-based tool designed to assess scientific inquiry and creative problem-solving skills.

The next step is to learn from these pilots and explore how they can be expanded across Nepal’s public school system.
