We spend way too much time looking through NFT projects. and honestly, most of them start blending together after a while. same PFP formula. same roadmap. same “community first” talk. same promise that something huge is coming soon. but every now and then you find something that makes you stop scrolling. these are the ones currently on our radar at ARM DAO 🧡 @mannay | NAIVES this one is just cool. Mannay is basically building faces through code. eyes, noses, hair, glasses, hats... all functions, all JavaScript. “too human for code” is how he describes it, and yeah, that’s pretty accurate. they don’t really feel generated. they feel like actual characters. even @claudeai highlighted it as one of the Claude Code projects that stood out. 10,000 supply ETH L1 minting through @verse_works presale should be this week for collectors of his previous work (1/1s, editions, ASCIINON, ASCIILIFE) + a few selected communities. snapshots happen before the drop. price still TBA. @CashmereLabs | GOAT STREET @0xforkd completely different setup here. Cashmere already has the infra, the users and an actual product. Goat Street feels more like their existing ecosystem stepping into NFTs, rather than another NFT project trying to invent an ecosystem after mint. 6,666 goats Robinhood Chain free mint August 28, 15:00 UTC+3 checker is already live. worth mentioning, 4,000 out of 6,666 go to treasury. the team says this was always part of the plan. existing Cashmere users and previous NFT stakers got priority, then applications opened up. the form is closed now. Cashmere was incubated by @binance and they’ve been building around Autonomous Monetary Infrastructure for a while. @OranguNation this one is EARLY early. “A nation of Orangu’s” by @ExoticRaccoon . there isn’t much to ape into yet, and that’s partly why we’re watching it. no massive roadmap. no token. no fake utility page. just characters, 3D animation and this weird banana/orangu world slowly being built in public. ExoticRaccoon already creates AI content at OpenSea, but Orangu is his own thing. not an OpenSea drop. right now there’s no mint. no website either. just the world. sometimes that’s enough to keep watching. @boldpfps @boldleonidas has been drawing comics, memes and characters by hand for years. when bolds was first announced, the rules were almost funny: Art only. No Discord. No mint date. No price. No supply. No alpha group WL. No guaranteed WL for holders of previous collections. basically the opposite of how NFT launches usually work. now the account is active again, more people are watching, and we finally know at least one thing: it’s NOT a free mint. everything else? still waiting. @THEBUFOS this one is hard to explain because you don’t really discover THE BUFOS. you discover the island. @JDOTCOLOMBO has been revealing the whole thing through clues instead of feeding everyone a roadmap. coordinates. codes. ferry tickets. the Council talking. people trying to figure out who actually made the list. and somehow it worked. from basically nothing to around 9,100 people watching the island in roughly a month. the art is hand illustrated. no AI. frogs, cyborgs, aliens, monsters, humans... somehow all living in the same world. 10,000 travelers unlock the mint. the ferry still hasn’t started boarding. we don’t know everything yet. I think that’s kinda the point. @WastelandRH probably the most game-like project on this list. 3,333 rejected monsters on Robinhood Chain. the art is AI-generated and they’re completely open about that. what makes it interesting is everything underneath it. collect → hold → burn → $WASTE → forge → materials → relics then you’ve got structures, caves, castles, rarer destinations and hidden Sanctums through the Forge. apparently staying unlisted longer can even improve your forging odds. whether the whole economy works once people actually start playing with it is another question. but at least there’s an actual system to explore here. and that’s really why these made the list. they’re not six versions of the same project. NAIVES is playing with code as an artistic tool. Goat Street is an existing crypto product moving into NFTs. Orangu is trying to build IP almost from zero, in public. bolds is basically saying art first, figure out the rest later. THE BUFOS turned the collection into a mystery people actually want to solve. Wasteland is trying to build a collectible world with an actual system behind it. some of these will work. some probably won’t. that’s NFTs. but we’re not looking for another 10k engagement farm that everyone forgets two weeks after mint. we’re looking for artists, builders and communities people might actually remember. we collect. we trade. we connect projects with collectors. teams above, we’re watching 👀 collectors, which one are you on? 🧡
