வடமாநில influencer-களுக்காக ரீல்ஸ் ஆட்சி நடத்தும் த.வெ.க. அரசு இதன் ஆபத்தை உணர்ந்து, உடனடியாகத் தனது அணுகுமுறையை மாற்றிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என எச்சரிக்கிறேன்.

Happy to see the investment and support for sports by our #DravidianModel Government bearing fruit at the 20th Asian Games being held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

A big round of applause to Tamil Nadu’s super-talented athlete, Vidya Ramaraj, who has set a new record by clocking 54.75 seconds in the women’s 400m hurdles.

Recognising her talent, our Dravidian Model Government ensured that Vidya received the necessary support under the ELITE category as well as assistance from the HCI.

Coming from a humble background, Vidya has emerged as an inspiration to millions.

I also congratulate all our Tamil Nadu athletes Abinaya, Vishal, Rajesh Ramesh, Abhay Singh, Josna Chinnappa, Velavan Senthilkumar, Baranica, Hariharan and Kamalini for winning medals for India at the Asian Games and making Tamil Nadu proud.

Efforts such as financial assistance through various schemes including TNCF, and the provision of government jobs to 300 athletes under the 3% sports reservation have played a significant role in helping our sportspersons achieve these heights.

I hope the current government will continue to extend such support to our athletes, enabling them to achieve even greater success.

May our sports stars continue to rise and shine!

Why is it always me?

When it comes to me, I have no idea where the feminists and those who claim to stand up for women disappear.
Women in politics are not characterless or any less deserving of respect. Being a woman in public life does not give anyone the right to judge her based on her appearance, lifestyle, or personal choices.
Every woman has her own dignity, self-respect, and right to live her life on her own terms.
Beyond the position of Mayor, please remember to respect the woman.

சிறுமிகளுக்கு எதிரான மனிதத்தன்மையற்ற இழிவான செயல்களில் ஈடுபட்ட குற்றச்சாட்டுகளின் அடிப்படையில் ஜெம் வீரமணி கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். இதில் வீரமணியும், அவருக்கு உடந்தையாக இருந்தவர்கள், அவரைக் காப்பாற்ற முயன்றவர்கள் எவராயினும், எத்தகைய பொறுப்பில் இருந்தவர்கள் ஆயினும் தப்பிக்க கூடாது. அனைவரும் சட்டத்தின் முன் நிறுத்தப்பட்டு, அதிகபட்ச தண்டனையைப் பெற்றுத் தர வேண்டும். இதுதான் திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் நிலைப்பாடு. இந்த வழக்கின் முடிவு, இனி இத்தகைய குற்றச்செயல்களில் ஈடுபடும் எண்ணமே எவருக்கும் வராத வகையில் அமைய வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் ஓர் அரசியல் இயக்கத்தின் தலைவனாகவும், ஒரு குடும்பத்தலைவனாகவும், மனசாட்சி உள்ள மனிதனாகவும் எனது விருப்பம்.

ஆனால், இந்த வழக்கில் தேவையே இல்லாமல், குறுகிய அரசியல் நோக்கத்துடன் தி.மு.கழகத்தின் மீது பொய்யாக அவதூறுகளைப் பரப்பி, ஒரு கூட்டம் குளிர்காய்ந்து வருவது மிகவும் அருவெறுப்பான செயலாகும். வீரமணி வழக்கில் யாரையும் காப்பாற்ற எந்த உத்தரவும் கழக ஆட்சியில் பிறப்பிக்கப்படவில்லை.

பெண்கள், சிறுமிகளுக்கு எதிரான குற்ற வழக்குகளில் பாரபட்சமின்றி குற்றவாளிகள் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு, குற்றப்பத்திரிகையும் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டு, தண்டனை பெற்றுத் தரப்பட்டது. இவை அனைத்தும் பொதுவெளியில் இருக்கும், மறுக்க முடியாத உண்மைகள் ஆகும். எவரையும் காப்பாற்ற வேண்டிய தேவை கழக ஆட்சிக்கு இல்லை.

தற்போதைய த.வெ.க. ஆட்சியில் நடப்பதுபோல, சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள், மாவட்டச் செயலாளர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட கட்சி நிர்வாகிகள் மீது அனைத்துப் பத்திரிகைகளின் முன்பும் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்கள் பாலியல் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை முன்வைத்த பின்னரும், நடவடிக்கை எடுக்காமல், சமரசம் பேசி வழக்கை முடித்து வைக்கும் இழிசெயல்கள் கழக ஆட்சியில் நடைபெறவில்லை.

எனவே, சிறுமிகளுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துயரத்தை இடைத்தேர்தலுக்கான கருவியாகப் பயன்படுத்தும் இழிவான செயலையும், முற்றிலும் பொய்யான அவதூறுகளை ஊடகங்கள் மூலமாக பரப்புவதையும் ஆளும்கட்சியினர் நிறுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். பாதிக்கப்பட்ட சிறுமிகளுக்கு நீதி பெற்றுத் தருவது மட்டுமே நம் அனைவரின் நோக்கமாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

Since 2021, the #DravidianModel Government of Chief Minister @mkstalin has firmly refused to hand over assets acquired with the money of Tamil Nadu’s people, whether to AAI or to private players.

The DMK Government fought tooth and nail to protect Tamil Nadu’s ownership and ensure that our State received its rightful share of revenue for every rupee spent from our people’s taxes.

That is precisely why Parandur was structured as a public-private partnership with public ownership protected.

NO private operator could gain complete control over an airport built on land acquired using Tamil Nadu’s taxpayers’ money.

But today, the #TVKGovt is shamelessly cancelling Tamil Nadu’s VERY OWN future-ready airport at #Parandur, while seeking to hand over #ChennaiAirport to a private operator on a platter!

TamilNadu under the DMK regime was building an airport which would give revenues to the STATE Of TN.

Now, This #tvk Government wants to cancel it and enrich a private monopoly instead.
