पौड़ी गढ़वाल के श्रीकोट निवासी सीमा कंडारी ने कोतवाली डोईवाला में दी तहरीर में बताया कि उनकी बेटी सृष्टि कंडारी की शादी नवंबर 2025 में हर्रावाला निवासी सौरभ खत्री से हुई थी। आरोप है कि शादी के बाद से ही ससुराल पक्ष के लोग उनकी बेटी को मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से प्रताड़ित कर रहे थे।

आरोप लगाया कि सृष्टि को कभी दहेज की मांग को लेकर तो कभी अपशकुन और मनहूस कहकर परेशान किया जाता था। ससुराल में होने वाली किसी भी अनहोनी के लिए उसे जिम्मेदार ठहराया जाता था। मृतका की मां ने आरोप लगाया कि 29 जुलाई को उनकी बेटी की हत्या कर दी गई। उन्होंने पति सौरभ खत्री, सास परवीना देवी, ननद चारू और अन्य परिजनों की संलिप्तता का आरोप लगाते हुए कार्रवाई की मांग की है। मृतका की मां की शिकायत पर आरोपियों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर ली गई है। मामले में जांच की जा रही है। फोरेंसिक टीम बीते बुधवार को ही घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गई थी। फिलहाल पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट का इंतजार किया जा रहा है।
