The Great American State Fair in D.C. celebrates agriculture and rural America in the nation’s capital.
Dr. Brazil was invited to speak on ranching in America today—the threats, challenges, and triumphs of the defining industry of the West.
Dr. Brazil, founder of Ranch Vision, joined a ranching panel on the National Mall this week as celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary get underway. 🇺🇸

@RockMcMahan Supporting American producers is a good thing. Screwworm is “here” in extremely isolated cases, as we all knew it eventually would be once it got through the Darien Gap, and will soon be eradicated. Worked out well indeed!
I also got the chance to visit quite a bit with Dr. Brazil and his wife yesterday at the American State Fair event yesterday. Dr. Brazil took part in a panel with our friends @yearlins and @AJRichards where they discussed the issues western ranchers face and impressed the importance of ranch agriculture to the nation.
⚖️🚨 Last year, PG&E filed to surrender its license and begin decommissioning the Potter Valley Project, removing the Scott and Cape Horn Dams because of @GavinNewsom's policy of putting fish over people.
Last week, I heard from the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District. A legitimate buyer who expressed strong interest in purchasing the project from PG&E.
This would allow @POTUS and @SecretaryBurgum to restart/expand reliable hydroelectric electric generation while keeping both in place. I hope @PGE4Me is taking them seriously!
Such a transaction would secure reliable water for 750,000 Californians and hundreds of hardworking farmers who rely on it for irrigation. Putting people and agriculture first. 💧
This continues to advance our Freedom Framework protecting hundreds of producers from losing the water they rely on. Real solutions being offered after @USDA intervening in the FERC proceedings last year. 🇺🇸🦅
A massive Nevada water company wants Hank’s land for a billion-dollar pipeline to Las Vegas.
Suddenly he’s facing arson charges for years-old wildland fires that caused zero evacuations.
Up to 10 years in prison.
Where’s the evidence???

Ag Day is a reminder of the importance of agriculture in our society. At Ranch Vision we exist to empower ranchers. Long live the independent producer.
Agriculture will not be sustainable unless it is profitable.
Good on the @USDA for understanding that!
Proud to be part of the solution here at Ranch Vision.
Save Potter Valley Project is an initiative fighting to save a dam structure in Northern California that provides water to 600K people. Dr. Rich Brazil, who serves as Chairman of the Save Potter Valley Project, has brought attention to the impact of the potential removal of these dams, and how it would be a devastating blow to the farms, ranches, and families across five NorCal counties.
@SecRollins has taken leadership to champion this cause and fight for the justice our rural communities deserve.
Dr. Rich Brazil speaks at USDA on the need to save dams in Northern California! Demolishing the Potter Valley Project will destroy family farms and ranches and cut water to 600,000 people.
