I want to live...

I want to wake up in the morning to fresh air coming through the window of my home, not to the smell of gunpowder and smoke.

I want to escape this tent that has become our small world, and return to a home that gives my children safety and warmth.

I want to see Imad go to school, and I want to see Adam play without fear. I want to live just one day without thinking about war, displacement, or hunger.

I want to live an ordinary life...

At the moment there are 9,400 known Palestinian detainees (not including abducted and disappeared Palestinians from Gaza, whose numbers are yet unknown). Among these prisoners there are 3,376 administrative prisoners, held without charge or trial. This is a massive number.
