“We expected Hamas to try to kill Jews.
We didn’t expect Americans to celebrate when they did.
People often ask me why The Free Press has covered this story with such intensity and relentlessness. This is the answer.”

Excellent interview with the brilliant @harari_yuval in @TheAtlantic
‘When I hear people compare Zionism with racism, this itself is a racist statement, because Zionism is simply the national movement of the Jewish people. And if you think that Zionism is racist and is abhorrent, you’re basically saying that Jews don’t deserve to have national feelings. Turks can have national feelings, and Germans can have national feelings, but when Jews have national feelings, this is racism. Zionism basically says three simple things that should be uncontroversial. It says that the Jews are a nation, not just isolated individuals. There is a Jewish people. The second thing Zionism says is that, like all other peoples, the Jewish people also have a right to self-determination, like the Palestinians, like the Turks, like the Poles. And the third thing it says is the Jews have a deep historical, cultural, spiritual connection to the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean, which is a historical fact.’

Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, may have been killed in Israel’s targeted strike against the central headquarters of Hezbollah. May he burn in hell where he belongs.
UN Security Council Resolution 1701 requires the disarmament of Hezbollah. If the international community cannot and will not disarm Hezbollah, then Israel will.
After speaking at a conference about climate change, I found myself accosted by an Anti-Israel extremist who kept following me and foaming at the mouth like a raving lunatic.
I refuse to be bullied and intimidated by the extremes of American politics. My support for the US-Israel relationship remains unshaken and unshakeable.
Trigger alert –
The video of the female observers’ abduction, is a wake-up call to the civilized world. We must condemn those actions and we can not abandon the hostages held captive for 229 days.
This video, captured by the body cameras of Hamas terrorists on October 7th, has been edited and censored to exclude the most disturbing scenes, such as the numerous murdered young men and women at the Nahal Oz base and inside the bomb shelter from which the female observers were taken.
The Israeli government and the international community can’t waste another moment – we must get back to the negotiation table today!

The boycott movements worst nightmare …
A youth choir made up of Israelis and Palestinians has advanced through the audition round of the “America’s Got Talent” TV show after a rendition of Phillip Phillips’ “Home” that visibly moved all four judges.
Describing themselves to the judges after their performance, one of the Palestinian members of the Jerusalem Youth Chorus says they’re “a group of Palestinians and Israelis. We believe through music and through working together and talking to each other, we are taking a step forward into building that amazing future where there is justice and there is freedom and there is equality and there is inclusion.”
Go get em!!!
It takes an abhorrent amount of evil to protest the Holocaust Museum in the heart of my metro-Detroit Jewish community.
It was never about Israel, it was always about Jew-hatred.
“I haven’t seen any Jewish people in America running up on mosques with Israeli flags.
Protest a policy, not a people. What we saw outside of the synagogue in LA is a pogrom.”
Thank you @VanJones68
Hamas, together with thousands of Gazan civilians and aided and abetted by the UN agency UNRWA, kidnapped 250 innocent people on Oct 7.
As we found out today, the hostages were deliberately kept in civilian homes for months, right in the middle of a populated area with thousands of “civilians”. In the past few months, it was discovered that some hostages were kept at hospitals and at UNRWA schools and homes of UNRWA employees. The tactic employed by Hamas and anybody else complicit with it was to ensure that any rescue mission may potentially lead to a maximum amount of casualties for the sole purpose of propaganda… and boy have Hamas and the media and the UN milked this propaganda for all it’s worth.
Regardless what the UN and the media or anybody else want to claim, 100000% of the responsibility for any casualties rests solely on the hostage TAKERS, not the hostage RESCUERS. Israel has a duty and a responsibility to do whatever is necessary to protect their citizens and to rescue them. The fact that there was 50 or 100 or 200 or even 1000 casualties is not on Israel but on the perpetrators of the kidnappings and all those complicit in it.
There was a gunfight, and people were killed. Both sides were shooting so both sides hit civilians or anyone who was killed and injured. But again, the sole responsibility for any casualties lies with the kidnappers. They kidnapped the hostages. They took them deep into Gaza. They kept them captive in highly populated residential homes. Israel’s sole concern is to rescue the hostages. It’s really that simple.
If you don’t want people to die, don’t start a war, kidnap civilians and place them in the middle of a large population. To even attempt to criticize Israel in any way for any deaths is not only immoral and wrong, but it’s dangerous. Because the moment we assign even an ounce of blame on those rescuing hostages, you are giving a green light to terrorists everywhere to use the tactic of hostage taking and human shields and preventing the hostages from ever being rescued.
The issue of morality here does not lie with Israel but with any party of any kind even attempting to lay the blame on Israel. This isn’t a movie. This is real life and this is war. And it’s high time all the leftist imbeciles grow up and wake up. They are empowering terrorists to use tactics that are war crimes and crimes against humanity. They are the problem, not Israel. If anybody honestly does not understand the very basic concept of this, then seek help or f*** off.

Many rushed to shame @DukeU for what happened today, at the Graduation ceremony - a bunch of pro-palestine students booed Jerry Seinfeld and left before his speech. I know from personal sources that Duke handled exemplary the whole anti-jewish ordeal. There were no encampments, even if outsiders came and tried- they got arrested immediately, along with one teacher who led them, per the University instant request. If there is one elite US University where Jewish students were not blocked, mocked, harassed or shout at, that would be Duke. Because the President, the faculty, the board members and the strong jewish community there made it very clear from the very beginning that they will not tolerate any form of hate, nor vandalism, antisemitism, foreign( terrorist) flags, masks or anything that led to disaster in so many American Universities. Also, the quality of the majority of students and teachers might have helped - they’ve never shouted “Intifada”, “genocide”, “death to America” or other nonsenses. Because they were well informed and well educated.
The famous @JerrySeinfeld managed to deliver a refreshing graduation speech, funny, meaningful, without politics and, most important, without a single interruption. The students who left in a very rude way, about 30 of them, did so not to free palestine, but because, on their graduation day, they could finally express their antisemitism, without consequences. They didn’t like to hear a Jewish speaking…
Too bad they are about to get some good jobs with a prestigious diploma …from Duke.
The good news - thousands attended the ceremony, listening with respect and joy, having fun. Jerry can have that effect on the smart people.
Hundreds of Jewish students at @Columbia just published one of the most incredible student letters I have ever read.
It's not only magnificently written, but it also clearly articulates their experiences on campus for the past six months.
Their letter tells the story of what's it like being a Jewish student right now better than any professor like myself could ever do.
Please take 4-5 minutes to read their letter.
Give Jewish students a voice.

No one has a First Amendment right to erect illegal encampments, blockade entrances, vandalize property, break windows and doors, block students from accessing campus, hold people hostage, and harass and intimidate “Zionists” (i.e. most Jews).
These are not activities protected by the First Amendment. These are crimes punishable by law.

Hostages, what hostages?
No way you’ll see my face.
After months of pressuring Israel to negotiate a hostage deal with terrorists, the Biden administration came to realize that negotiating with terrorists is a dead end.
Postponing an inevitable war to please voters won’t lead to stability and peace.
Iran, Russia, China, and their proxies are determined to destroy the current world order.
Islamic and communist ideologies have been proven wrong throughout the centuries so we shouldn’t allow a new generation of fanatics to repeat the same mistakes of the past. Islamic and communist models are doomed to failure. Capitalism is the better option.
Sticking your head in the sand will not remove the threat. Trading your most fundamental principles for short-term political interest will lead to more chaos.
America shouldn’t wait for things to go completely out of control before taking action. And the Biden administration must choose between winning the election or winning the war.
Strong leaders are not afraid of taking risks, weak leaders try to please everyone.
