@TuftsFMR_CHA@LChambily@agordpj@mia_prifti@abbyksolomon If this is a question about Feedback, we try to be very intentional about it! We have designated time during your inpatient months to give you individualized feedback. You also get individual monthly coaching with a behaviorist and feedback from advisers &preceptors #tuftstalk
#WORSTPRESIDENTEVER There needs to be a single, repeated, clear, and simple message for this presidential election. Let's keep it as straightforward as possible. And let's repeat it as much as possible. Please spread widely.
@TuftsFMR_CHA My sincere gratitude for hosting this Q&A session. I appreciate a lot your time answering the questions. I am very interest in your program and I would be honored to be part of your team. #AskTUFMR#FMrevolution
Yes-we have TONS of languages!!! Portuguese, Haitian-Creole, Spanish, Vietnamese are our most common amongst MANY. I feel like I'm on the interpreter phone about every THIRD clinic visit- it feels like a very diverse culture :-) #askTUFMR

Yes yes, we truly walk the walk! Residents get a longitudinal curriculum taught by both behavior an primary care faculty. Our behavioral health faculty are IN are clinic and we do warm handoffs with them They are a key part of our clinic and resident training :-) #askTUFMR
@TuftsFMR_CHA Thanks for hosting this Q&A! I believe behavioral health is an integral part of maintaining proper primary care. How does Tufts FMR incorporate this into its training? Do residents work with behavioral health specialists and if so, in what capacity? #AskTUFMR
For sure! Check out our website- it has our addiction curriculum. We have a robust curriculum that I help run, providing lots of learning: both didactics and experiences. Our residents even get to run our Suboxone groups! We are also engage in addiction research :-) #askTUFMR
As a faculty member, I can wholheartedly say our faculty go above and beyond to support residents- each resident gets partnered with a faculty adviser they meet with quarterly, get individualized coaching and mentoring with a behaviorist, there is intern support group! #askTUFMR
Yes, as a faculty member, I can say we wholeheartedly intentionally work to support our residents. All residents get partnered with a faculty adviser they meet with quarterly, get individual coaching and mentoring with our behaviorist, there is intern support group! #askTUFMR
Of course- residents get a formalized curriculum that includes principles of improvement methodology that focuses on IHI principles on how to create and sustain change (see IHI 3 questions), run meetings, work in teams, measure and track changes through PDSA cycling :-) #askTUFMR
Hi @TuftsFMR_CHA
Can you talk about the Leadership and Improvement Science Curriculum?
Also, I saw that CHA received an Honor for Employee Wellness. Can you explain more about the wellness curriculum?

We are always growing our program; every 6 months we re-evaluate our "aims" as a program and develop working groups to accomplish the aims that align with our values around health equity, integrity, cultivating meaningful relationships, providing evidence-based medicine #askTUFMR
Our program prides itself on leadership development with formalized curriculum modeled from Institute for Community Health; our faculty are trained in this too! Residents practice this while leading team meetings and are part of working groups to improve our program. #askTUFMR

#AskTUFMR Can you give me an example of how the program handles leadership development experience and what changes do you anticipate in the program in the next three years #Familymedicine
Me too! I did my masters teaching fellowship here, and having that fellowship "percolates" the entire program with a rich medical education philosophy! We also have Tufts medical students rotating through clinic and the hospital- lots of opportunities to practice:-) #askTUFMR

Yes! I love research too (I'm one of the core faculty!). Our FM program has rich opportunities for research and we have several community partners (Insitute for Community Health and Harvard's catalyst program) that helps provide support for research interests. #askTUFMR
2 of our senior residents this year are going to the Robert Graham Center to learn advocacy skills and are encouraged to publish the topic they are passionate about and advocating for :-) Our program offer a signficant amount of elective time to do stuff like this! #askTUFMR
Cool question! 2nd and 3rd year residents have a lot of elective time and use this in various ways- for example, many of our residents blog on medicine-base posts and assist faculty on publications, many of them with advocacy lenses. #askTUFMR

With my backgrond in journalism, I would love to continue advocating for patients by writing about healthcare policy and and population health. How would @TuftsFMR_CHA support this endeavour? #AskTufmr#FamilyMedicine#primarycare
#askTUFMR Yes-we are the epitome of a PCHM! We provide very structured team-based care and learn principles of improvement methodology along the way. We work in teams of front desk, RN, medical assistants, providers and also provide population level care to our patients :-)
