@Nerd_US_@UniverseIce Rather than making good displays? They're the industry leader, there's a reason Google, Apple, and many other brands use their technology
@Superman7Life@AmoneyResists If you think it is evil to want religion to be a personal pursuit rather than a government establishment, you clearly either have an oppression kink or lack critical thinking skills.
@PeterKay1313@AmoneyResists At what point do you draw the line between "teaching the Bible" and Sunday school services? Don't be ignorant, this is clearly a state establishment of religion. Tell me, why are they not also reading, for example, the Quran or Buddhist literary works?
@Superman7Life@AmoneyResists Separating church and state is not abolishing God. It's doing exactly what the Founding Fathers intended: Leaving religion at the individual level, rather than government level. Not getting to indoctrinate kids with religious nonsense isn't the same as having your God "abolished"
@noob_tradR@SpeedySalvy@ZacksJerryRig Your last sentence mentions the importance of being allowed to hold such beliefs, which is fine. But, like shown in the image the other person posted, the Founding Fathers recognized that it is a personal pursuit and should not be established by the government.
@Paddy_film@openessfairness@JoannaStern Why would Siri need to route such a simple system request through their full LLM? No on-device LLM services should be needed to access system apps or settings. Such requests should be handled by a lighter process.
@JustinKCollins@daniel_scuteri Could also be thermal throttling. When throttling, the phone reduces brightness while still showing in the settings that it is at maximum brightness.
@FrexyFox@ficklebutter00@imparkerburton They're not talking about the video of you recording the phone, they're talking about the MAIN thing you showed, the iPhone's camera feature. Why do you think compression and being recorded on a 7 matter at all? Lol
@theonecid Looks cool, but the banding in the frosted effect is a recurring theme in OneUI that Samsung should address. It cheapens the otherwise-beautiful menus like this one.
@RALPH1203@puchicamanito@UniverseIce That's a flex, sure, but it's also a flex for Samsung to be the company quietly responsible for producing most of the innovative technologies for other brands, like batteries, camera sensors, process nodes, modems, SSDs, RAM, displays, foldable technology, and the list goes on.
@Nega7ive_Plays@UniverseIce Regardless, it's best to wait for all information to be released before trying to bash this feature. No official information about how it works has been released yet, and treating potential misinterpretations as facts is strange.
@Nega7ive_Plays@UniverseIce The video doesn't necessarily show that that is how it works. It shows a switch, signaling the feature being enabled, but that could very well be a simple advertising feature to show the pre vs. post feature, not an automatic enabling of the feature. We shall see who's right.
@mrchrisok@KayBee624@ZacksJerryRig You're missing the point. This is a very good stress test of the robot's coordination abilities. Such demonstrations show that it is highly capable of doing things with high precision and maintaining composure, which is the core part of making these viable.
@defihabibii@UniverseIce The S26 and S26+ will use the Exynos 2600 in certain markets, including South Korea and probably in European markets as well. The S26 Ultra is likely to get Snapdragon in all regions.
