No. I am directly addressing it, but apparently it went over your head.

My point about civilizations building upon the ruins of previous cities is a reference to the concept that texts will evolve and change when built upon. They can have an image with one civilization or previous generations, giving one explanation and story and then later civilizations/generations giving a different explanation and modifying the text/story and image over time.

Joseph Smith was claiming to have the original story, not the one that was adapted later over time.
