What they're admitting is that Apple smart watches are recording people's conversations and behaviour without their knowledge, which makes this a terrific time to mention that Apple develops their AI tech in Israel, and uses cobalt and minerals unethically extracted from Congo.
Horrific — 🇨🇺 Cuba's water crisis has gotten so dire that the US embassy is issuing health alerts to US citizens... without recognizing that the US itself is responsible

Soon we will all realise that there is nothing inherently progressive about being queer or homosexual.
It is just a sexuality, like any other inherent trait.
Queer people can be racists, fascists, misogynists, sexists and terrorists. It is not a protective shield from the "isms".
Earlier today, AI researcher Jacob Coxon, who spent the past three years working at OpenAI and Anthropic, publicly resigned from Anthropic, warning that both companies are racing toward superintelligence and “gambling with our lives.”
Then Evan Hubinger, Anthropic’s current Head of Alignment Stress-Testing, agreed with him, saying people inside the company genuinely believe AI could kill all humans.
Hubinger said he personally puts the chance of AI wiping out humanity within the next decade at greater than 10% and said Anthropic still does not have a plan to solve the problem.

The allegations involve children UNDER 11.
Warrants say children were pulled out of bed for men to sexually assault them and retrieved when they tried to run away.
One defendant allegedly drove a child to different locations where multiple men sexually assaulted them.
Cops. A firefighter. A city employee.
I seem to have misplaced the drag queens again.

A man purposefully drugged his wife so that other men could rape her and the men raped her to death and this is framed as "sharing" as if she was a sandwich and not a person

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Ha'aretz reports that Hamas, through Qatar, conveyed immediately on Oct. 7 that they were willing to return all the civilian hostages for nothing -- their only ask was for a mediator to arrange the exchange and establish a connection to then negotiate the further release of the soldiers. Israel refused to talk or hear about it.
So Qatar reached out to Antony Blinken to let him know that Hamas was willing to release all the civilian hostages.
Blinken told Qatar he didn't want to hear it because "Israel is still under attack, and there's no one to talk to."
Blinken had the opportunity to free every single civilian hostage and de-escalate the situation. Instead he wanted war.
