@PacmanIOM "If you dont want the government that already arrests thousands a year for 'wrongthink', to have a dragnet digital id where they can monitor all media with direct link to your identity, you must be a pedo"
You lack the necessary qualifications to properly exercise free will
@LFCNev@Begos7777 What a retarded thing to say. "I can be shown all of the true data in the world but I won't belive it if you dont verify your id" very 'thought policing' vibes coming off this one
@BradfemlyWalsh How do you prove your not a child to use social media? Id. That means everyone has to provide id.
Rub two braincells together and use even half an ounce of critical thinking next time.
@DanielPriestley@Keir_Starmer You can already restrict kids social media usage. It's called being a parent. There are also already tools to help with that.
Why in the hell would you want to give drag net digital id powers to a government that has already proven time and time again, they do not care about kids
@Sai_Ishaya_@cognitofalcon Oh honey, I already have multiple ideas for ways of bypassing based on what's been proposed. The kids are the same. And if they dont they will just go to less safe sites. And the damage that may cause will be on retards like you
@Sai_Ishaya_ "So why is the proposed social media ban facing such fierce backlash?"
Because it has nothing to do with kids. The government doesn't give a fuck about kids. They've already proven that time and time again. It's a drag net for putting faces to online comments.
@vitt2tsnoc@PutterOnner This doesn't protect children. That has already been proven in Australia. Kids can bypass this shit all the time. It's a drag net for everyone else to dumb to fight back
@vitt2tsnoc@PutterOnner That's exactly the point actually. Your so close, try a little harder
Putting a government ID to everything said/done online so when the government doesn't like it, WHATEVER "it" may be, They have direct links to peoples identity and will "punish" as they see fit.
@SenateCA@GGCanada@HoCChamber "The bill authorizes cabinet and the federal industry minister to direct telecommunications service providers "๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐ค ๐๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ง๐ฎ" to secure the telecommunications system"...
that may be one of the worst thing i have ever read
i cant wait to show my friend the news of the day. i remember getting drunk with him 5 years ago telling him, a bunch of WEF cronies want to try to force ID on the internet.... then eventually cbdc's and probably social credit. step 1 going hard and some already discussing step 2
