😭 there it is, we hit $40 trillion.
FWIW, I coded the debt badge to sync w/ https://t.co/VbtmGuRhPi which is about 48 hours behind on reporting, and to project to present time based on the annual average debt per second and the number of seconds stale the treasury data is.
Ossoff: When he first announced the tariffs, you remember that? He called it Liberation Day, and it crashed the markets because it was clown policy. You remember that?
OK, so follow me through on this. He announces the tariffs on April 2 of last year. The markets tank nonstop for like a week because it’s a disastrous trade policy, and six days into the crash, April 8, Trump buys millions in stock. I’m talking Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and then the very next morning, April 9, he posts on Truth Social, quote, “This is a great time to buy.” Three exclamation marks.
OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, he canceled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same-day rebound rallies in market history.
He’s trying to get money. And you saw, now he’s offering paid subscriptions to presidential announcements, right? Just understand what’s for sale here: The sitting president’s pronouncements on war and peace and economic policy delivered first to paying customers.
What an absolute crook.
The entire US national security world is entering a panic state as they all realize the severe shortages of anti-missile defense systems and even some offensive weapons pose major limits on US war fighting, including in Iran.
Meanwhile, here's what the Pentagon is focused on:
🇺🇸 The House has passed the $1.1 trillion National Defense Authorization Act 216–212, with six Democrats voting yes and seven Republicans voting no. It incudes section 219 which integrates U.S. military intelligence and the defense industrial base with Israel.
The bill makes US military support for Israel easier and more institutionalized. It creates a Pentagon official tasked with accelerating U.S.-Israel military technology cooperation, including joint R&D, testing, co-production, data sharing, and moving jointly developed technology into procurement.
Separately, it extends through 2029 an existing authority allowing the U.S. to transfer weapons already stored in its War Reserve Stockpile in Israel. That authority can permit transfers without Congress voting on each shipment, with Congress only receiving notification under the underlying law.
I’m glad that ABC is admitting that the toxic chemicals in your sunscreen are dangerous and cause cancer.
Everyone I know who has skin cancer wore them. 😬😭
Do you still put this on your kids?😭🤣🤯
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve was created to help OUR country during emergencies.
But Presidents use it to stabilize fuel prices… GLOBALLY, because oil is a global market.
If we use much more of it to mask the cost of wars, we risk collapsing the salt caverns that hold it.
Joe Rogan dies of laughter when openly gay comedian Tim Dillon goes off on the insanity of Pride Month:
DILLON: “Why do the Padres have to wear gay uniforms for Pride Month? That doesn’t make any sense.”
ROGAN: “😂😂😂 What are they wearing? What happens when they play in Dearborn?”
DILLON: “It’s not going to go well. As a gay person, I’ve never said that I need the Padres to be gay too.”
ROGAN: “People have been taught that thinking for themselves might make them racist, sexist, or homophobic, so they’re afraid to question anything.”
DILLON: “Why is Chase Bank gay? Why’s Chobani Yogurt trans? Does this give people healthcare? Does this make you happy? What’s the point of all this?”
ROGAN: “It makes some people happy.”
DILLON: “It actually makes more people angry. That’s why gay marriage has lost 11 points in support. It’s annoying. Why is my bank gay?”
ROGAN: “😂😂😂”
DILLON: “I just want to know when my bank came out as gay. I’m fine with it, but I just wish someone would’ve told me. This doesn’t make anyone’s life better.”
ROGAN: “It’s a very confusing time for children today.”
DILLON: “It’s just virtue signaling garbage that ends up making people hate that community. They’re not going to gain support by shoving a worldview down everyone’s throat.”
@chatgirlshoops An incredible Chemistry and Biology teacher too. You influenced so many kids at sports and as a teacher. You inspired so many hoops players and so many scientists. Good luck at Lafayette #GoPards
Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core.
The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old.
It had fewer than 50 employees.
And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it.
Here is the part the administration tried to bury.
Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast.
One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done.
Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion.
A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son.
This is public money. Your money.
Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for.
And there is more coming.
A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review.
This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer.

A quick real world test of mobility & flexibility that, were you to do it every day, would offset substantial age related decline in your mobility, balance and flexibility. Can you do the Put On (& Tie) Your Socks and Shoes While Standing Test? @trainer2thepros on Huberman Lab
Is there anyone worse than Thomas Massie? Faults:
1. Obstructionist: He obstructs protection for the Epstein Class.
2. Backstabber: He stands for the same principles he has for years when Trump does a 180.
3. Traitor: He accepts $0 funding from Israel. Very disloyal to America.
@SteveRattner@Morning_Joe I would guess that only #MAGA supporters bought this and not sure they hold it against him. People should never blindly trust politicians
If you have 3 minutes to watch Pete Hegseth get schooled by @RoKhanna, you need to watch this! Listen through the end. It’s EPIC!
Congressman Ro Khanna: “How much did it cost American taxpayers in terms of the strike on the school?”
Pete Hegseth: “I wouldn’t tie a cost to it.”
He then refuses to say what the costs are to American families, before Ro Khanna gives him the astounding numbers.
The end is the best part.
Hegseth and Trump are so far from reality when it comes to everyday Americans.
